I was debating whether to take a road trip in 2023 or not. When I found out Iowa Wesleyan university was closing, and considering I missed a filming opportunity exactly like this because I hadn't yet discovered elevator photography, I decided to redeem myself. One thing led to another, which led to the title of this video saying it all! I've tried to repeat the concept of this road trip twice already and have not been able to do so. Enjoy!

Revisited Adel IA to film a Schindler 330a with the low-pitched chime after Super Techno Cat and I found the building locked.
Refilmed a hotel tour that was lost, got the exact same room.
Filmed elevators of a university before it closed permanently. I missed Dana College’s elevators when it was still open.
Filmed a service elevator (at Iowa Wesleyan) after finding out I reasonably can in a facility that’s closing. I missed the opportunity with the Younkers at Lindale Mall.
Filmed a gated elevator in Ames that I missed while focused on Iowa State.
Reattempted the elevators at the Doubletree in Cedar Rapids and successfully filmed them.
