I’ve got 2 now. One in the each go box. I’m using one with the IC-7300 and one with the IC-705. I’m really loving QRP now. Recent contacts with 10 watts to Argentina and Italy with the Reel POTA-ble EFHW antenna. Thanks guys. Hope you can make enough to supply the demand.
Hello. Question... does the coil of wire left inside affect anything? It is essentially a resistor. Thank you in advance for your answer. FYI....you’re eBay link at the bottom isn’t working.
Not sure I understand your question? One end is supported by a tree. And the other end is the Reel. The antenna is designed to be Reeled in. The wire is actively connected to the transformer.
@@N5BSB If the far end is a fixed to a tree or mast I would think as one feels it in you either have to walk closer to where the far end is secured or you’d have to move the mast or use a different tree. In the video th person was standing still as he relied (FYI I just purchased one but was wondering)

You can adjust for lowest swr in the band by reeling the wire in or out. if you don not have or wish to use a tuner this will work on 40, 20, 15, and 10. if you have a tuner you can use it for 10 - 40 M. i also used it on 6M ft8 -KI5GNL
