Welcome to SCO, the pioneering telecommunications provider in Gilgit-Baltistan, established in 1976. Since 2005, SCO has transitioned from analog to fiber optics, overcoming the challenging mountainous terrain, including the difficult Karakoram Highway (KKH). Despite financial constraints from the federal government, SCO has expanded its services to the K2 base camp and introduced 4G, S-Paisa, S Phone, Smart TV, and S-Net services throughout the region.
SCO provides high-speed S-Net internet and DXX services to corporate clients, including government institutions, banks, NGOs, and semi-private entities. The organization has also set up state-of-the-art customer service centers across Gilgit-Baltistan, offering 24/7 support.
Under the visionary leadership of DG SCO and the Sector Commander SCO, software technology parks and mini freelance hubs have been established in Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, and Ghanche. Moreover, Pakistan’s first freelance hub with modern facilities has been launched in the heart of Gilgit city.
SCO is also committed to corporate social responsibility, actively supporting cultural and sports activities in the region, including musical shows, polo, cricket, and cycling races.
