Honestly I'm quite sad this video didn't go viral. The amount of work you put in really shows in how wonderful each and every track sounds. You've touched my heart for sure ♥
@Christian Edwards The original Mario All-Stars was a remaster, though. If they weren't going to remaster their collection of old games, they shouldn't have named it something that calls back to Super Mario All-Stars, a remastered collection of old Mario games on the SNES. I'm honestly fine with a collection of old games, but I felt a little misled after I found that it's emulation rather than a remastered collection of games, as the name implies.
I know. And Super Mario 64 on the switch is clunky and buggy as all hell. But it is what it is, and probably the only time we'll ever see it on the switch - and even more disappointing - this collection is no longer being produced - you could get copies on amazon, but the price is probably going to soar the rarer this collection gets.
@@somebodyelse9130 They should have called it the Super Mario 3D Collector's Edition, which would double as a reference to their Limited Release Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition.
Thank you, I appreciate it! My goal when remastering is different from theirs, but I still love Church of Kondo's channel and admire their work. I'm glad to see others have noticed it too!
Holy crap This remaster of the whole ost is absolutely outstanding! As someone who cherishes the Mario 64 soundtrack close to my heart, this remaster is absolutely beautiful and a true work of art! Absolutely fantastic job!!! Also, make these tracks into separate video’s? Hell I’d love to have All of these music tracks made into extended versions!
Very high quality music. The original samples had this certain vibe to them, but you were able to capture it kind of well even with higher quality instruments.
Nintempo, dude. This is the best remaster i've ever heard, but for real this is so GOOD! You've done a good job sticking to the source but done a little bit of changes which i love. I especially love your "The Ultimate Showdown" it really gives credit to how important the final battle is. It sounds so powerful, i could listen to this soundtrack over and over again. But like holy hell dude, you have EXTREME TALENT! keep up the good work man, it's wonderful :) I Had to edit in more, cuz i can't stop giving positive feedback. I love it so much dude. this should've been in the official Super Mario 3D Allstars Soundtrack.
43:51 - (Lethal Lava Land/Shifting Sand Land) This track really remembers for an old ancient egypt market or temple. Wonderful work!!! It would fit perfectly as background music for movies.
But... it's more the title theme distorted. Also, Bomb-omb Battlefield's theme is just a creative take on the main theme of the Mario Bro's series. Which, as you would have it, is used by the title of SM64.
This is so good but at the same time it lies right on the uncanny valley. So close to the original but it always feels off in a way, though not necessarily a bad way. It's the same feeling as walking into a room and finding everything moved exactly 1 inch to the left
You have absolutely OUTDONE yourself with these!!! My only 2 suggestions are removing a bit of reverb and making Bowser's Road louder in the beginning.
The remastered version is amazing! You used the modern Mario instruments/sounds to remake these songs! My favorite is File Select, it was always a nice tune to chill to. Edit: Just realized I could ask for it to be made as a separate video, I would love it, but you don't have to.
Bitchin' soundtrack! This is a fantastic remake of one of my favorite game soundtracks!

Honestly, you're absolutely underrated. Holy freaking fucking shit. Wow :| I usually never like remastered or remixed versions of like the soundtracks from my favorite video games, but MAN is this a marvelous exception. You're incredibly talented and I'm sure you're gonna get the recognition that you deserve very soon!
Dude you did such a good job that my most favorite is slider and metal Mario it’s just that you did the most best job ever and these remix are very good and really calming and I hope you worked hard on this 😁👍
