The Resident Evil 9 Rumors 

I want a full open world resident evil or a game that takes place in the arklay forest like where the hitchhikers were being attacked before the Spencer mansion or raccoon City outbreaks

I mean right now I think the writers are trying to figure out where to go. Ehtans story has ended we have his daughter and now the answer is where do we go? I think resident evil has found its stride though. After raccoon city and that story arc ended we had a wonky story till we hit Ethan. Once we hit Ethan I think Capcom is like this is the story arc, but now that has ended and Idk what their gonna do.

Wouldn't it be cool if Eveline returned?? It would be especially interesting if she got a full redemption arc! Just think about it for a bit: First of all you could make a lot of solid arguments, that she is actually more of a victim rather than a villain. And secondly, just think of how interesting that could be from a storytelling perspective. If Eveline was indeed redeemed just imagine all the moral and emotional conflict that would cause. It could be a situation where the chracters have to fight fire with fire, by using Eveline to fight other bio weapons. And just think of the pressure that would put on Eveline if the new villains tried to manipulate Eveline into joining their side. That would actually create a huge inner conflict especially if Eveline was one of the protagonists. Also the person who would now be raising Eveline might be very forgiving. They would basically be like: “I am gonna save you kid no matter how many times you try to kill me!” That would create a pretty unique dynamic between that person and Eveline. And also bringing her back from the dead would not be that big of a deal considering, that several characters have already come back from the dead in the later iderations of the franchise. And she also still exists in the mega mice. So, I don’t see why she wouldn’t return. And most importantly, think about all the unique gameplay possibilities. Wouldn’t it be cool if the player was able to control Eveline and use her mold powers to fight? Now onestly, doesn’t that sound awesome?? 1 Reply

They might be working on dead rising 2 remastered

The characters ages is not a relevant factor for making new games starring them. There’s no law that says new games MUST be set in the year they release. They can EASILY set new games during the 2010s.
