@TL C S14E8 is one of my favorite all time. I also liked the Ireland episodes of 15. To each their own though. It's a waste of both of our times to extensively argue about the shows quality by season.
They have really changed the character's key traits. Dennis in S16 is dumber than S1&S2 Charlie. Mac is reduced to tired gay jokes now that he is out. Dee and Mac have gotten absurd looking plastic surgery and botox. Frank and Charlie are alright, but there is still something off about them.
Love that Dennis genuinely doesn’t care or tries to save Mac. He just lets Mac continue due to their “once you make a decision you must stick with it” thing.
@@Yumifreak3 it started in “pop pop final solution” Charlie’s makes a point about eating Rotting rancid soup and sticking with it, Mac obviously copy’s it like he does with anything. It happens all the time in the show, whenever someone does or says anything no matter how stupid and dangerous it is, they will copy it.
I love that the only reason that Mac got fixated on these nuts in the first place was Frank's casual use of the phrase "your nut" in the opening scene. Much like how the phrase "inflation" got them focused on inflatable furniture. Just top tier hilarity all around.
I love how they're getting everything they can out of the "inflation" in the title, there's the literal inflation references, the inflatable furniture, Charlie's apartment getting bigger, even Mac is inflating
With Dennis it was covid that he was adamant he didn’t have, with Mac it was a nut allergy, with Dee it was pink eye and with Frank it was the bag of clams that definitely did not make him sick, thank god he didn’t get any oysters 😂😂😂
When they were trying to sell the inflatable furniture outside, I knew already that at some point, wind was going to blow the furniture out in the street and then it would get hit by a car. I knew...but still ended up laughing anyway lol
@@FreedomOfSport Its not the makeup, it is the botox and plastic surgery that Rob and Caitlyn have gaslit each other into thinking is "minor" or "hardly noticeable", but in reality they don't look anything like their characters used to and there is no in Verse explanation for it.
Im loving new season so far. I think the past few season were matured, especially the ireland season, showed a different side of them. I think with them doing their podcast, this has brought back their absurdist humor and they've gone full tilt into this season so far. I will say, I atleast appreciate they keep it fresh and ever changing not falling on the same formula every time. I fucking died with this ending scene. Wheezing as bad as mac was.
I love Dennis this season. His comedy is very subtle. When Dennis was in bed translating what Mac is trying to say to Charlie, I laughed so hard at his tone
@@nathanlindahl8336Totally agree. Always sunny is one of my fave shows but the 2 new ones were so shit. Everything feels forced and unnatural. Like they are trying to revisit old bits but without the charm and randomness. The bit about the nut felt like a bastardization of the hot white cream bit or the load bit.
@@rowaystarco So what bit in those episodes did you find funny? In your opinion where the bits better or worse than the ones in older episodes? Again sunny is my fave show and I really wanted to like the episodes but they were so flat. Basing the episodes on drawn out unfunny premises and unimaginatevly reusing old bits.
@@thegovernmenthaveharvested5492wellll, to be fair, you can develop an allergy you didn't always have. That's still most likely not the reason why we've never heard of it before lol
That happened to me. Face swelled up, hives, throat closed almost all the way. I’m going to the store and returning the pool float tomorrow. I need more peanut butter anyways.
For those wondering, nut allergies can present themselves when your as early as two but can emerge well into adulthood and can be limited to certain nuts. You may be fine eating them for a good chunk of your life but then suddenly start having reactions to Tree Nuts like macadamia nuts when you're in your mid thirties. Additionally, the nuts that Mac is eating might actually be fine, but the surface of the nuts and/or the interior of the tin could be contaminated with traces of another nut or something else he is allergic to (I only mention the tin due to the consistency of Mac eating directly out of the container).
This show is truly amazing. Mac at the very end, unable to even speak anymore. He can only groan and point to his empty tin to demonstrate his need for more nuts
That Mac still had some wiggle room to mask his identity. He was doing all he could to identify with his father feeling emasculated at every turn Now that he's come out he bears no shame, but routes ALL his fawning onto Dennis
I understand everyone complaining but I like the twist of Mac knowing he’s allergic to Nuts but too embarrassed to admit it and it all started with one line Frank said in the beginning about inflation and increasing your nut. I thought it was a 8/10 and these scenes where hilarious
