Daredevil is my favorite comic book character of all time.

Without this channel i would know nothing about comics. I was big into them all my life but as i get older i have no time or money to invest. I read the collections when they come out but can't really keep up so THANKS for your content.

Charles Soule is like my new favorite Comic book writer. He handles DD the way he's meant to be, the art style is fantastic and Blindspot is so freakin cool looking, love it XD

Brubaker's Daredevil is good Rob!! Also Daredevil marvel Knights was really good too.. But Waid run from 1-36 was really good! Waid made him seem normal, made him flawed in a good way, and forced him to face different villains like Spot, Klaw, and Purple man.

Man, i've never been a huge fan of Daredevil either and I wasn't a big fan of All New All Different Marvel, but this video makes it sound interesting as hell.

Hell yeah! Soule's Daredevil is probably the most underrated Marvel book right now, which is kinda sad cuz "THIS IS AMAZING!", so you doing this is great, keep it going man!

I just realized the similarities to Gil Kane's work. Unbelievably well done, even though I don't actually prefer this type of artwork, it really depicts the mood and emotions of each and every character.

at one point you said "I'm not too familiar with older Daredevil, to be Frank" (I'm paraphrasing here) Was this a sort of an easter egg reference to Frank Miller, who has one of the most popular runs on Daredevil from the late '70s into the '80s? If you aren't familiar with his work I think you'd really enjoy it. It's what all other takes on the character measure up to. I think Soule's version is definitely inspired by that. I'd also highly suggest runs by Brian Michael Bendis followed by Ed Brubaker's run. They are both really good and I think you'd enjoy them. Thanks for your videos - I really dig the passion and joy you have for these characters. Keep up the great work!

Mark waid's run is MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE run of the character: a lot of new elements, well played, well written, shaking the status quo, a different but welcomed tone (in a time when every comic gets darker it's nice to see a dark comic become brighter)... i simply loved it.

You should look at the nocenti/jrjr run rob. Very underrated daredevil stories, specifically the introduction of thyroid mary. Wilson Fisk and Typhoid Mary literally beat the hell out of daredevil physically and mentally in really interesting ways

One cannot see, while the other cannot be seen. The one that cannot see, sees better (understanding) than the One who cannot be seen. Both Blindess and Invisibility are ultimately weapons. I dig the juxtaposition of Dare Devil and Blind Spot...
