Sunusi never accepted his faith after his dethronement. Ever since he was, he has been finding ways to return as Emir of Kano. Sunusi financed NNPP as a party which present Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf is from. And the only reason for financing the party is if they win, they'll return the throne to him and which they succeeded in doing that. Sunusi knows him coming back as Emir of kano will bring alot of problems but still choose himself rather than his family and the people of kano. Because of his selfishness the Dabo family has been broken 💔 into pieces and the people of kano are leaving in fear of chaos. When his Grandfather was dethroned many governments tried to bring him back and dethroned his brother Ado Bayero but he always say "I've accepted my faith, i dont want to destroy our family, and i want peace to reign in kano". So, i guess Sunusi with his knowledge about life and wisdom should have done the same thing not to come back. And point of correction Aminu Ado Bayero is not his cousin, he's his second uncle. Because Aminu Ado Bayero is the son Ado Bayero and Ado Bayero is the younger brother to Sunusi's grandfather Muhammad Sunusi the first.
