In a normal year, an anonymous, wealthy businessman posing as "Secret Santa" personally hands out hundreds of $100 bills to random strangers. But this year, the novel coronavirus called for a novel method to deliver gifts to selected essential workers across the nation. Steve Hartman reports.

Biggest Steve Hartman fan ever. This made me extremely depressed because when I first heard of Secret Santa, he was handing out $100 dollar bills... which, back then, was enough to cover rent and even purchase a few groceries. Today $1,000 doesn’t even begin to cover the rent in Houston.

This is beautiful. All I can think about are those multi millionaire, billionaires and now even a trillionaire who could be stepping up and helping so many of our people who desperately need it and choose to hold on to their monies instead. I’ll be surprised to hear if this secret Santa is a millionaire. Most aren’t that kind and giving.

To give hope, Love, and kindness is the great gift of all. This man is truly one of the good ones. My one wish is one day I can feel the happiness he gives to other, and I might be able to do the same thing. Its not about the recognition for doing it, its about the happiness you give to other, and that has no price on it.

They do. Jeff Besos former wife is giving away most of her divorce settlement. Warren Buffet is leaving very little to his family, giving most of it away. Even though his intentions are questioned, Bill Gates and his wife are giving most of their money away.

I have a multimillionaire mom and in-laws, and I can't afford a new pair of pants and groceries, due to health reasons and major medical debt! My clothes are 10 years old and my rickety old car is now 18 years old. I even flush my toilet every 20 or so times I pee, so I can save on the water bill.
