Started to watch your channel not just for the drag racing but because so many people got priced out racing and you guys were successful with a relatively low buck truck and a family effort where everyone was a contributing factor. Keep up the good fight and allow Karma to take care of the things beyond your control...
The most refreshing comment I’ve read in a very long time. Thank you! You “get it” everyone was contributing to help the channel succeed and supporting the effort.
You talking about what you want to do with your channel and how you want to give a little of what makes you happy and who you are, that's why I love watching your videos. God Bless you and your family sir
I'm 23 and me and my pops which was born in 1959 with his twin identical brother ",I said hey remember the part where he saved them from the bear", and also was trying to eat that hanged up deer they had out side.made us smile!!! And can't forget/ RED FERN",old coon Hunter's
The main reason I love this channel is that I connect with with everything you do from the racing to ranting that what separates your channel from anyone else out there you also showcase everyone that makes it all possible in there own way so thank you OMG FAMILY 💯🇺🇸🔥✌✌
I am 50 years old and have 6 boys. We’re the exact same on many ways. My dad died yesterday and the video really helped me today. Thanks as always for sharing and keep up the great work. A lot of us needed your channel for many different reasons. Thanks for giving hope.
i dont know how many times i can say this without it getting old, but thank you Bill, Vicki, Kenny, Harlie and all the supporting crew for making this a channel that i have been waiting for since my childhood. this channel rocks!
HOLY SH_T!!!!!!!!! That's UNREAL. Tyler brother,........your a master. Incredible. I got a feeling your gonna be pretty busy. Bill that looks absolutely stunning. Its looks original to the period. Just insane!!!!
Its funny how you can be 1/2 a world away in Australia, and still grow up watching the same stuff on tv, the good old days! The truck lettering come up a treat and perfectly resembles you, and your channel, keep up the great work 👌👍✌
Thank you Bill, this is the first time I have commit on anyone’s video. This is one of the best. You have old school values. I love that. God bless you and all your family. Thank you.
Love seeing a big smile on that face to start off. After all the stressfest vids,...its absolutely awesome seeing you guys so happy. This is what semi-retirement is supposed to look like. Pure happiness. Keep that positive energy rockin Bill. Top notch content brother. 👍🇺🇸💪
Ole Cooter kept the Duke boys running, while Uncle Jesse kept them rounded up the best he could, and nobody could ever forget Daisey, my my what gorgeous eye candy she was. Take care Mr. Bill and Mrs.Vicki.....
If you only knew how much you help people out already you would understand how we feel about you and your family ever since we started watching src garage we didn't just fall for the racing we fell for how you and your family worked together and the love yall have for each other and the passion in racing its bad ass what family doesn't have drama we all do what makes yall special yall are strong family and overcome what others don't yall are a huge inspiration to us we love yall are our family that's why we keep coming back to yalls channel never give up we will always be here for yall however we can
I'm only nearly 20 years old and grew up watching a lot of the shows you mentioned in your videos including M.A.S.H. and The Riflemen. It's great to see that truck come together so quickly and excited to see the finished product! I love seeing this older rigs still on the road, I've got an 84 S10 with SBC and a couple friends have lifted squarebodies. Keep up the great content and we appreciate everything you do for us!
@@51-FS we all are my friend. Growing up doesn’t just stop when you hit an arbitrary number, we are growing up as long as we keep learning and becoming a better person.
Well this episode pretty much sums up why I watch your channel. I’m just a little older than you and we have a lot in common. Trucks really coming together Bill, it’s looking good!👍🏻
Bill, I wouldn't change a thing about this channel. I can come here and enjoy family time, hot rod time and you make me reminisce about all of these years with family, and drag racing dating back to when I was 14, pulling parts at a junk yard for a few teenage dollars. I stay on top of the other two channels to get my fix of everything else
Emotional attachment is what is gonna grow this channel. All the other things ya do are fun and knowledgeable but you connect with your audience on a 1 to 1 emotional level. This is the main reason I wait up every night to watch. you may have that 80/20 split of privacy you talked about before but your 80% is so much more real, Than anyone else's on You Tube. Keep it up and God bless y'all.
Same here! Cannot beat old school rather way things were done back in the day with true values and morals. Incorporating the love for old vehicles and racing w family and friends
Bill your only talking about real life and I can’t tell you how refreshing it is, hell my wife even watches now!! Take great care of your loved ones even if their on the opposite side or the street, still your son and we don’t have to like there choices or life styles but they’re still you children. Thank you for giving me something to look forward too and I’ve learned a bit as well, by watching your channel change I see a completely different man, one that I admire ! Your doing great content and giving the folks that Help you in your everyday life great exposure like Mark and Tyler tonight and there’s no better advertising than seeing it done in your shop! Keep your videos coming and let’s move forward because there’s nothing in the rear view but dust! Can’t say thank you enough keep smiling ! The Fenwick’s.
It seems you have your finger on the pulse of what the people want and I hope it grows your channel enough to provide for everyone you mentioned. God Bless Bill and the family and God Bless our neighbors to the north with their CONVOY!
Mr Bill I'm a 47 year old man and everything I just watch really touched my heart i have tears rolling down my cheeks lol. It really brought back such special memories or times them shows I sit and watched religiously with my grandfather. Well he taught me everything. He was an amazing man I really miss him. Great video can't wait to see more. God bless yall !!!
You keep the content comming and well keep the views up bill. Dont matter what you put up if it involves motors full scale or 1/10th scale were in there with you!
We have been OG as OG can get with the Garage's from the get go!! We never ever have had any disappointment not matter what the subject or heavy attitudes in the air. Always something to learn about Carbs, Racing, Eating, Dogs, Freinds, Family, Day to Day things, What huggie wipes are for.. etc. We have taken to heart a lot the experiences in relation of the what not's and what too's. Please never change We love Y'all for who and what you are here in East Texas. Be safe out there. The 64 C10 looks awesome and we can't wait for the merch. Excited to help support the channel. ✌🇨🇱
Been watching you for a while now Bill. A mates dad was there for me many years ago and you remind me of him. I was his Kenny powers. This episode especially is the message I want to get through to the younger generation. They just don't get what we grew up with and how things and shows we watched meant something real. Even though I love RU-vid now I still approach it with the same way we did watching TV as a kid. In other words I don't binge watch shit in one day and miss all the meaningful things it has to offer. These Netflix binge watchers do my head in cos they miss so much and don't see applying the things we learnt from those programs and want they meant in day to day life. Your a gem my friend. Don't stop doing what your doing. Your a legend.
That engine run stand is just like the one I was telling billy that he ought to build last winter/spring when he had the truck engine on Velcro engine mounts. As many engines as you guys have going in and out , it would pay you to have one of those in a corner of the shop. Most of it can be built from scrap stuff you have sitting around the shop and then you can get Uncle Bucko to stop by and weld it up for ya. Anyways , take pics, take measurements of this one before you return it so you can build one one day. One place I can see you and your channel going is once the C-10 is done and you feel the urge to do another project similar to it, it would be awesome to see you and Vicki cruising thru the beautiful country roads of Ohio and anywhere else, to look at other projects similar to the truck and buy one, drag it back to the shop to do this very same similar thing to them then put it up for sale. While your cruising the country, stop in some of these old diners, cafes, bbq joints and have a good lunch/dinner, maybe an old country store and just let the episode be a little bit car, little bit bill & Vicki, little bit of rural forgotten about America and the folks just like you and Vicki that bring it all together and make it work! I could absolutely see you and Vicki blowing this thing up big time by continuing to build that connection we have with you but with a couple million other subscribers that just don’t know they are subs yet. There are a ton of guys our age and up that have wanted to build a little hot rod or cruiser their entire life but maybe didn’t have the ability for some reason or other and you can show really how simple it can be to build one. Many guys don’t understand that they don’t have to build a $100k off frame, rotisserie restoration in order to have a fun cruiser, hot rod, rat rod, etc and go enjoy life like we used too. We’ve gotten away from that but I see it in your comments bout every day “Bill, you’ve given me the fire to get off my butt and work on that old car behind the garage again” and numerous similar other comments. We’ve been telling you for a good while how special you are, and you truly are brother, but maybe now is the time since your not as busy racing, and go connect with more of these folks and do some of these things many of us love but aren’t able to do right now and share it with us all! It keeps our brains working, our hearts pumping, and gives us reason to be here tomorrow cause quite frankly man, with the state of this country right now, it’s hard to keep our focus, and you nail it every time you turn around by giving us hope and ideas for tomorrow!! Well dang it, I’ve done it again man! I let my finger run away from my brain and my thumb wrote another damn book, lol. I’m sorry folks, but it’s hard to say these things in three sentences but the older guys like me and Bill understand that, lol. Bill, we love you and Vicki dearly and you’ve been helping many of us thru some very difficult times and you don’t even realize what your channel is really doing and how you are touching people, but that’s good!! Don’t try either cause then you’ll lose some of that special feel. Just keep doing what you do in the shop and Vicki can keep baking cookies, beef n noodles, and chef boyardee pepperoni pizza. Weave in a few little classic hot rod lessons from the tailgate of the C-10 while drinking a Coke from a glass bottle and before you know it, that one million subscriber play button will be showing up!! I can’t wait to witness this cause it is the stuff that just makes our hearts feel good! You are doing more good doing what your doing than I ever could have thought of doing by being a Veteran for ten years and trying to protect a free country for all of you to enjoy and it’s just amazing how big a reach, one old man can have, but you’ve got those arms wrapped plum around the entire globe! Keep it up Bill, I’m so proud of you and the entire family!! We love all of ya dearly, but lord man, we’ve gotta make these videos longer! A 20 min video truly feels like it’s only 5-7 minutes and are over much to quick. Folks will watch a 45 min or longer video without complaints, or they can pause it and come back. But right now, I’ve gotta watch this one for the third time now cause I just can’t get enough!! You nailed it with all those old tv shows in this video that we all connect with. It’s just like my comment a week or so ago when I said that you and your family are like the modern day Waltons. Most of these young whipper snappers in here don’t understand what that show did for us back in the day but you are just as good as what they were and this country needs that love and those feelings back bad and you are delivering! Good night Bill, Good night Miss Vicki! We love ya and we’ll see ya tomorrow!!
Man Bill,....your gonna have the coolest race car toter at the track. That truck is just great brother. Your spec'ing that truck out flawlessly. Its truly perfect.
19:33 “limited exposure to stupidness” I interpolate as “Second Childhood” in which I’ve been in for the past 25 yrs. I know what your were implying and our time here on earth is limited so make the best of it, you and Vickie both, you deserve it. Go mud riding, go do the simple things you and Vickie enjoyed doing together. You sure look happier now and not stressed as much as in the past. Looks like you’re enjoying the C10 build as well. Kids are raised, time for you. The clock is ticking. Old Mans Garage, 187 Customs, Midwest Streetcars and SRC are my favorite channels in that order. Keep kicking out the videos and don’t let Kenny get away from ya. He a diamond.
I'm 35 yrs old, I admire your channel not only because of the racing, but you give knowledgeable information for younger generations than you so we can continue to keep these old style motors running and build our own cars.. I respect all the older generations because you guys are classy well mannered honest people with good hearts...I wish people these days would raise their kids like my parents and older generations raised their kids than this world wouldnt be so damn screwed up!! Keep up the great content sir, much love from Michigan
The truck lettering turned out great. Your wife's smile when she saw it was so big and obvious that she was very happy. Your a good man bill your channel is great and you are a great narrator. The last part about staying clear was very clear aswell i do the same thing and stay clear of drama
Bill I totally love watching all your content. It’s an outlet for me. I’m going through some physical & depression issues. I’m having neck fusion surgery next month. So since I’ve been injured (9/20) I’ve been watching your channel. We’re probably closes in age I’m 52. The lettering on the truck is awesome! Good night Bill!
Re what the 'Old Man's Garage' channel is about,, Bill, many of us live vicariously thru the things you're doing. We're enjoying every second Sir, EVERY SECOND. Thank YOU :)
Great show tonight!! Love the truck and the rest of what you do. You seem to have a bad case of real life and it can go from shitty to amazing in two seconds. Most of us have it also and will follow you through it. The idea of the mudding and riding four wheelers is great,! My wife and I are in our early 60s and now we are back to what we use to do. Go for it my friend!! You won't be sorry!!
I have watched your family's videos since the beginning (ALL OF THEM). As a 53 year old gear-head your channel also speaks to my childhood and young adult memories so congratulations AMAZING tribute truck. Like you, I've had the GOD given opportunities to teach my boys about "Muscle Cars and Carburetors". Like you I HONOR my WIFE as you do Vicki (loved seeing her light up when she seen the truck). I've also and still do "butt-heads" with my now 25 year old son while building his Nova since he was 15 years - old. He didn't and doesn't always want to listen to wisdom that only came through experience and failures and he's had to learn the hard way as is Billy, I find solace in knowing they will find themselves and appreciate us more at a later date in life as the good LORD works ALL things out for his Glory! God Bless You and Vicki and the BOYS!
This episode was suggested to me and I must say I really enjoy the way this episode was done. I like the older truck and the way you narrate your videos.
Bill, I’m not going anywhere. I joined this channel for your content and exclusively your content. Personally I think it would be Great to follow you and Ms. Vicki on you twos shenanigans for a day. So I’m still with you like from day 1 when you started this channel. Stay safe and warm, God Bless.
I like your references to the old shows that had values. Family, friends, work ethic, etc. The important things that are sadly being forgotten. From a young man with an old soul. Keep it up we love what you are doing.
Love the lettering it's bad ass man that truck is gonna stand out everywhere it goes can you please when the snow goes away post pics of your dad's car and you and Mrs Vicky's truck together can't wait to see them together your channel is gonna keep growing we love your channel stay warm fix the furnace and your in your prime keep up the great work
I love seeing your channel going the direction it's going. I love watching Billy's channel. I love watching Tommy & Allison's channel. I really hope you and Billy can work out your differences cause what I miss the most is in the opening of Billy's video. When he says "Got gaptized by mfing street car", his smile and your laugh. I really wish we/I could see that again really soon!!!! God bless you and your family!!
I find myself constantly looking at you tube daily waiting on a new video!! Turns out to be the best 20+ minutes of my day!!!! Love love love where this channel is and where it's headed!!! I grew up watching the same shows and I'm sure we have alot of the same values. The channel has quickly become my favorite!!!
i think the disconnect from the SRC brand was timed just right, i dont read to much into it, but even at 36 i appreciate the classics and the way you have put your channel together, the racing content and very family orientated content is something i really appreciate.
...great video,Bill and the truck looks great ! I am a few years older than you and can connect with your values, morals, and work ethic. Sounds like great things to come for this channel and thank you !
The reason I watch this channel has nothing to do with drag racing. I found this channel because of drag racing but as a 48 year old man I find the content on this particular channel very refreshing. I like the content about the day to day stuff more than just racing and building and preping only. I like how you and your wife are a team... I think that is what goes lost on todays society. But your message about the possible direction of this channel is one I look forward to! Thanks!
Bill you Miss Vickey and the crew like I’ve said before truly get my day started in a very good way. We got two feet of snow this weekend and a good person who plows my drive well his plow truck took a crap and 9pm last night he and his helper showed up with one. Snow blower and a shovel and started digging. Well I broke out my snow blower and basically gave it to them to use until whenever. Like you I will help most people. I’ll probably give it to him he’s been so good to me. He takes care of my landscaping and tree removals year round and always shows up. He needs it more than I do. The truck is beautiful hope the engine works out and catch you on the next video. Stay safe and well Artie 🇺🇸😊
As a 35 year old, I can’t speak for all of us, but your channel keeps my attention, and I look forward to your videos the most out of all the channels I follow here, so whether your running a skid steer, tuning a carburetor, running the r/c cars or drag racing, I’ll be tuning in everyday that you upload to watch and listen to what you have to say. Thank you Bill for staying true to yourself and your values and taking us along the journey with Mrs. Vickie and yourself. 👍✌️
Yes the good old tv shows! These shows were the cream of the crops in those days! Couldn’t wait to get home from school and weekends to watch these shows when growing up.
Im truly addicted to your channel. Listening to you speak about connecting with people, like it was when we were younger, gives me hope for this country. The fact that good, hard working, down home folks like your family still exist, brightens my out look. Im an old school car guy. I have my 67 Malibu for the past 10 years. Small block, 4 Speed and a 12 bolt posi with 4.11 gears. The motor needs a rebuild, and watching you guys gives me the incentive to get my butt out in the garage, and get to it. God Bless you and yours. Stay safe and well.
You know Bill, “Limited Exposure to Stupidness “ should be on one of your merch items somewhere. Just a thought. Keep taking care of yourself and Miss Vicki.
Tyler hit it out of the park with the lettering, beautiful job!! Miss Vicki`s C-10 is really coming together and congrats Bill, your about to hit 90,000 subs!! Love all your videos, plz keep them coming!!
I love how you guys take me back to better times and happier places. LOL, Sanford and Son... priceless. But a special shout out and thank you to Bill for his service in Vietnam. I love all soldiers, but have a very special place in my heart for the Vietnam Vets. You were my heros when I was 9 and 10, you still are at 60. Thank you for your service. I really love you guys.
He absolutely knocked it out of the park the c10 said is beautiful what a great job I love this channel I learn so damn much makes me want to get an old school truck again thank you bill for all you do I wish you an the fam the absolute best keep up the great work drag racing or not this channel is for everyone again thank you so much . An be sure to thank Kenny he is a blessing. As always love the content thanks again bill 🤘🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🤘
Looks great bill , miss Vickie's smile says it all . I also grew up watching the same shows at 56 I remember them all . I always wanted to live in a Mayberry town . Thank you for your content and happiness y'all bring us . All is appreciated 👍
Bill....sometimes you make me tear-up! God has open a door, and you're walking through it. Your content is very entertaining, and I will continue to watch whatever you want to post. You are a great example of a true American! Thank you, and God bless.
That old dually would be a great truck to do a Cummins diesel engine swap. Don't get me wrong 454's are cool too, with the flat bed and all a Cummins would be cool in it. Love the content. Take care, be safe, and have fun regardless.
I swear June has to be the best friend you have ever had and you can tell she knows scrappy is not there and she is getting all the attention I miss my dog so much and when I see her with you it makes me smile and want to start looking for a new friend
You know, I was flipping through your videos when you were helping the kids and now with the old man’s garage. It looks like you’re getting as many or actually more now than ever. Glad the channel is doing well. More than the content, you just know how to connect with people.
Guess what Bill? LIFE happens every day, and that's what your channel is about! Good job on the truck, it's coming right along. Look forward to the next. Stay safe and God bless! ~Dave
I would like you to try and build your own running engine stand that would make great content on your channel I like the variety of different things keep up the good work
You the man and the old man. I'm 60 years old and I bought a 70 Nova for me and a 63 Rambler for the wife and we have throughly enjoyed going to car show and shines through out Iowa meeting alot of nice people.
I appreciate it, but let’s just hope things grow naturally and not rush anything. We all have the same destination. It’s important to enjoy the journey.
I enjoy watching this channel and the growing family involvement with VGG as well. I think there could be a good collaboration there one day on a episode. I think they're both going for a similar goal.
Hey Bill just want to say love the Chanel brought back memories of the shows I grew up with it good to see the shine in your eyes and Miss Vicki big smile
Per normal Bill another great video!!😀😀 wow! I love the way the C10 is lettered now so good looking. Can’t wait to hear how that small block Chevy sounds. Keep going with this type of content it will bring the best out of family and friends. You and Miss Vicky just keep on enjoying yourselves. So nice to see. Love you guys!❤️😀😀
Loving everything that you were doing Bill you and miss Vicky please keep up the awesome work you guys are so down earth I love it thank you for all the contacts
