When i was in Canada last year I travelled through the rockies via small towns- Banff, Calgary etc. This song really made the experience.

Jean, hahahaha. The movie,well, the movie, but I wish that they had filmed it where it actually happened--Missouri, the Dakotas, etc. Not Canada and the southern tip of Argentina! I agree...especially the timing through his struggles in the film...This track identified the film story for struggling and betrayal and revenge, hope and finally satisfaction

As much as it felt the end was looming, there was a level of underlying peace through an acceptance of the insignificance and futility of survival in that vast wilderness. The sound track really contributed to that.

Saw the film twice myself as well and felt the same about the slight switch in sound for this theme in that scene. Such a serene experience.

I feel like the boat scene was not a good place to bring out this track for the first time. The emotions this makes you feel felt a little out of place with what was happening on screen. I think it was during Fitz monologue about what to do after the attack, no? Every other scene where this track was played was perfect though

TheJofrica yeah has nordic undertones and mixes many different cultures together to create the end product. It's still a masterpiece and the wilderness in the movie reminds me of Skyrim a lot.
