GOOD MORNING VIET NAM! (Sorry, couldn't resist). LOL at Versace meets LIberace--you got that right! And Italy def. has a marble shortage since the construction of this hotel! Louis XIV would have felt right at home. Certainly the cleanest hotel I've ever seen! If I stayed there I'd be afraid I'd break something very expensive. Fascinating video, thanks as always for an enjoyable tour.

Gorgeous. Beautiful. Just WOW!! Very much a modern day palace. Loved the blue marble, staircases, ceilings, the pool, the glass fish sculptures in the Cafe Cardinal.... the rooms. Quite the experience, I'm sure!

This vlog triggers my anxiety with the height of the room from ground level, the bustle of the city itself, the view of concrete upon concrete, and the extreme gaudiness of the hotel which is enough to start a migraine! Other than that, great! 🤪

It's a huge property, managing uphill task. So many restaurant with different styles, ideas. Full of Italian marble, colored mosaics are stunning. Special mention the bathroom with a view. Your room was better than the other room. Vibrant colors all over. Lastly, something was missing which I don't know.

We just had a 2 night stay here in part thanks to this great video. To be honest, the opulence of this hotel almost looked a bit tacky, but once you see it in person it actually is nicer and doesn't seem as ostentatious. Would stay here again if we ever go back to HCMC.

Well done and straightforward review. Basically... for those who love bling and glam... I suspect they will be in heaven. For those who like a more minimalist natural approach to luxury like Anam... well then this place might not be too appealing. Regardless... a tremendous effort went into this facility and for that the owners deserve praise. As for me... I am from New York but have been living in Ho Chi Minh City more than half my adult life and as I am now 63... I have been here a long time. But I have not yet gone into this hotel fearing I do not look the part. And so again...thank you for this very detailed view. Back in 1988 the top hotel here was the Rex. The room rate for locals was about 2USD back then but about 5USD if you were from the Soviet Union (yes... there was still the Soviet Union in 1988) but for me being from the USA the rate was a whopping 20 dollars. The pool at the top of the Rex was a wonderful place to relax in the late afternoon with fruit juice costing about 25 cents. They would bring you a glass with ice and a huge family size can of juice. I hate to think what a glass of juice poolside now costs...

WOW!!! That is all you can say about this hotel. You could go stay there and never leave the hotel. I would spend a day or two just walking around the hotel.

I think this is one of ten best hotel in Vietnam on my bucket list. I prefer Intercontinental Sun Peninsula Hotel in Da Nang, which offers ocean views, exotic landscape, and lavish decor layout inside the hotel.

OMG ! I know someone who went Saigon on her vacation with her husband . She seemed very pleased ,now I know why ! The hotel offers something for everybody ! The surroundings are just absolutely spectacular ! I was in Italy for a semester to study art , ( Northern Italy ) , I recognize the Itslian Renaissance I influence in the hotel, the glass sculptures , the different kinds of marble ,furniture ! The other Euopean influences in the hotel and some golden age period areas ! It looks like a popular hotel for both western and Asian clients ! The food is unbelievable , I got stuffed just looking at the choices ! Who want to stay in their room when you have a feast for your eyes and belly and body ? I don't think you mentioned the price per night of the hotel ? I don't think the city is busy , Manhattan can just as busy !

I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago. While the service was superb and everything else was perfect, the bling decor was just too much for me. I prefer the subdued elegance of the Park Hyatt Saigon, which also offers excellent service.

I really loved the over the top. Beautiful work. But... I bet you that Well known or recognized covers blowing in the Wind International Investigator's shiver in fear in that hotel. Terrified of the mixture of Italian, European, and ASIAN Crime and Money. Oh... !!!0!!! Loved the look myself. I want parts of my house to have the stone work. I am terrified personally of heights. Love your videos. I guess I am just a Minimalist, Quaker, Shaker, Tudor, Asian type of designer. But WOW ! Even views of the kitchen. Love it.

Some people have commented on the clarity of the video was not clear, but I found it very clear by changing my settings on the actual video - It may not be the Camera equipment being used. You improve the Qaulity of the video definition, by clicking on the settings On The Video you are watching. There are dots Menu on the Video, press them, this should then give you the settings, around 350 or 480 should give a lovely Clear High Definition video😊

hi, this is the first time i view one of your videos... and i must say, this is one is "exciting" although, nearly 40-minutes of video watching is a bit too long as for me, so i stopped after 20 minutes. the name "reverie" comes from the french verb "rêver = to dream" and reminds us vietnam was colonized by france...yeah fantastic hotel, yet i doubt i'd enjoy staying there because...how to put it, there's "too much of the good and excess is just opposite to good! but that has nothing to do with you , so once more, very nice video and thanks for sharing! eventually, you may have got yourself a new subscriber :-)
