so wholesome... i usually think that, "the real treasure at the end is friendship" is the worst excuse for an ending... i think ive changed my mind, i really appreciate this
Yeah, but his buddy didn't do it. He didn't sell out his friend, he just got stupid and nearly fucked everything. Bad shit happens. You don't forgive betrayal... but that wasn't. Everyone makes mistakes. He was sorry. And keeping him from bleeding out counts for something too.
@@flaviourbina7531 Yeah, they had a kickstarter and made a 22-minute episode explaining the origins of the chest behind the mirror (from the end of this ep). Also an episode about what happens to Alethrion's travelling partner, and an ep about older Vito and Wilhelm (the protagonists of The Reward). There's currently a kickstarter up for season TWO, check it out!
Ante Mulari RU-vid there is already a flash game for this, made by the same company. unfortunately its recommended that you have a bro controlling the second character. as its mandatory multi player
@@werewolf4358 I mean, they already managed to win the glory of kingdoms, kill a deity, learn nuclear high fives and easily score the babes like they both seemed to have wanted at the start of the journey (the blue guy showing that desire a little later with the fake mermaid scene). Whatever was behind that mirror can't have been worth much more than what they already had.
Yeah!! I just saw something from the official Rooster Teeth that had WORSE animation than this in all regards--why can't THIS be official and be wide spread and get all the monies instead of stuff that looks like it was painted and animation in Paint?! >:(
2013: Not this year 2014: Hold up, Not now 2015: I think people wants to see different random stuffs 2016: Ok people liking Cats and Dogs video, Let's recommend them that 2017: RU-vid: I think I forgot something 2018: Oh shit, this year RU-vid rewind was Flop, Let's give them something new 2019: The reward!
This is probably one of the most creative and absolutely amazing animation I have ever witnessed. Not only is this an innovative success, but it's smart, funny, and epic. I watch this once every week so that I can use it as a goal for animations I would like to create in the future. This summer I am taking an animation class in New York.
@@crimsonstorm5885 No, not an anime, those are comes from more east. The word 'anime' derived from the 'animation', and technically includes only the ones, what are originates from Japan. This came from Denmark (as it was stated within the video's description), therefor it's rightful name would be 'cartoon' by my opinion. But a great work of that wath doesn't need words for understand it, which makes it's language at least global.
It has been so long since I watched this for the first time. Roughly ten years. I never NEVER forget about it. I’m going to art college next year, and I hope that some day I can work on something like this.
love how the playful "Adventure" theme from when they set out gets a rock rendition as they continue their journey after the drama in the city :3 beautiful film, I love it =)
Сняли выпускники Animation Workshop. Потом замутили кикстартер. Вроде целый сериал хотели сделать. Теперь у них своя студия "Sun Creature Studio", их можно найти на ютубе. На данный момент три серии точно есть.
It's already been five years since this glorious animation has been uploaded?? Time flies, but I'm always delighted when I stumble upon this treasure. ♡♡
Huh, I thought that the treasure was the mirror, to show them how much they've progressed, and I thought it was a metaphor for how it's not about the destination it's about the journey but I guess it's just a wacky enjoyable film😂
@@josephsavage2884 Well, it clearly was a point made by an author - that journey is way more important than destination, but it's just an extra bit in the end and more like a joke. You got it right after you watched it :)
the treasure is cursed. this is explored in another animation on the sun creature studio channel, where they explore the guy sitting there with the glowing chest
I want this to either become a movie or tv show! The clever animation, witty humor and characterization in this short is impressive. I love the background and character design, and seeing these two characters who are seemingly opposites work together and get along is incredible. Plus the message is wonderful. Fantastic short.
Me entraron ánimos de jugar al D&D. xd Great job, wish I had watch this piece of art before. Loved the art style it really fits with the charisma of it.
but in the rest of the episodes its shown thats not true for some of the characters. especially vito (the orange haired guy) who knocks up a girl then ditches her. so perhaps bros before hoes, but still a shitty thing to do
7:27 animation error, Wilhelm (I assume his name is Wilhelm from the later one called Wilhelm's Curse) has all his fingers on his left hand which had previously been cut off.
rachparov The first episode is "work in progress" in Denmark right now and there will be others coming =D They're a bit late but be patient, it's going to be epic!
It is amazing and all but.. why did the villains need the other half of the map? The map doesn't even show how to get to the location, it just shows the location. Are they that dense that they can't understand where the location is in the world without looking at the other side of the world (the missing part of the map)? Makes no sense, but oh well.
True, but often the path to get there is just as important. Seeing as it took the two heroes their whole lives to get there one can assume it was incredibly far away and it wasn't as simple as just knowing where the final destination was. Imagine if you lived in England in the 1500's and found half a map to a treasure that ended in what is now California. It would be much easier just to take the other half from whoever has it rather than just winging it.
Dicky Moe First of all, it is a Japanese animated series, not Chinese. Often stylized "anime," Japanese animation usually sticks to a fairly recognizable pattern, featuring cartoonishly large eyes and small noses, but varies greatly in individual stylistic choices, some bringing themselves all the way to hyper-realism. It tends to have more well-developed, three-dimensional characters and mature storylines, as in Japan, animation is not thought of as a children's medium, and children and teen's shows are more detailed and violent as Japan's standards are different from the West's. Second of all, it may not be your cup of tea, but Gurren Lagann happens to have a rather well-executed style. Anime's stylistic choices may not sit well with everyone, but for me, growing up watching it, it is hard to adjust to Western animation. I have a feeling you are a troll, and I know trolls are not meant to be fed, but no matter.
So you are opting not to respond? A pity, I enjoy intelligent conversations. At least say something pertaining to the content of my comment, instead of remarking on its size.
Coming this 2019: Two open relationship bisexuals go on an adventure to find what they had no idea they were looking for. Full of highfives, bromance, and romance. What will they find!
