Disagree. China for one has 4 times more people than the US. Also keep in mind most of the Chinese live in the eastern of part meaning land is limited and china is forced to build high. Even though the view looks stunning, actually living there would be a nightmare.
@@edsal5528 I would hate to live in China for this reason. The lack of space, the lack of tranquility unless you have the wealth to buy a house away is the reason to stay away. When you are older you want different things.
@@maeudaou7347 I am sorry but i don't really believe it. Skyscrapers and high rises do not equate to standard of living. In 2018, 700,000 Chinese moved to the United States permanently (not students). We have about 15 million Chinese living in the US. Perhaps the cities have a better quality of living, but not the rest of China
u sound like a dumb ass kid lol. Wouldnt you rather have a choice where to live (city, suburb, rural) than just one choice? (city) Once you get older and have a family you will realize you need more space and enjoy life.
The poor Americans down below here will never understand the rich life of Chinese. Go eat your chips lol. USA is too rural. Go live in a countryside nobody care about you.
Most of the city i had been but I have to say: China city is better than US, but US countryside is better than China. If you like living in city, go to China.
@@zeccy337 Seriously? You Europeans try to destroy the reputation of the US. The US is less racist than Europe (I've been living in Europe for 4 years so I'm sharing my experience)
@@svijayiitk I'm American ffs. I live in a ghetto and it's like shit. Racial equality my ass. We're full of idiots who think that racism doesn't exist because it's a relic of the past. Yet racial segregation is embedded within our very society.
JasnoGT Me too. It seems like a LOT of people don't like Dallas, or don't care about it, and idk why. I've been there once, and it was BEUATIFUL. Super big, open, clean, and wealthy. Why does no one talk about it?? It's like the Los Angeles of the South.
JasnoGT And SA was on a skyscraper list without including Dallas?? Dallas totally DEMOLISHES San Antonio's skyline, lol. And although Dallas' skyline is smaller than Houston's, I personally think that the skyline in Dallas looks much cooler. More complete. It has more style. Houston just has more boring normal skyscrapers.
Literally a fact San jose , CA has more millionaires per capita then every major city in the world accept 2 Oslo , Norway and i forgot the name but a and Stockholm
I guess u guys have some misunderstandings with the “rural “ areas between China and the USA. Most of People in China are living in the urban areas in their cities, not CBD. Due to the huge number of population ,we have to save the places so the constructions are really high. As increasing amount of people in burst into the city, the urban expansion immediately. U may ask what’s the view in countrysides of China, here is, mostly are files and farmers. Finally there is no “good “ or bad between China and the USA ,that’s depending on different national conditions.
To be honest, Americans are not really know for their taste and personally I don't find their cities attractive other than downtown Manhattan and costal LA.
Rizka Hidayat Err, try Europe like nearly all of it.. for a kick off.. Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Berlin, Paris, London.. only San Francisco gets anywhere near the splendor if the above mentioned.. and that's with SF having their 8,000 homeless to contend with..
How was this list calculated? Dallas is at the end... it's #3 for the most fourtane 500 companies in the country. # 4 in the country for GPD, #6 for the most billionaires in the world....and 10th largest economy in the world.. As soon as I saw the first contenders I new this list was way off. San fransico #1....lol
Ance OG sorry should've been more specific the stats above including billionaires, GPD and economy are the metropolitan stats for the Dallas Forth Worth metroplex. Highland Park where most of the billionaires live is also a separate city surrounded by Dallas. Fort Worth was also included .Look up Dallas forth worth metropolitan billionaires. Checked again just to see if I was wrong. Dallas proper is now actually 4th in country and 18th in world according to forbes 2016.. Add the surrounding suburbs, fort worth and highland park makes it 6th in world presently for billionares......don't forget Dallas forth worth are classified as twin cities, have to add our twin too.
Yeah, the video gave zero info on the metrics were used to define "richest city" - but more trading occurs in NY (literally TRILLIONS of dollars annually) than almost any other city. Maybe London or Hong Kong. London is slightly larger than NYC, too so. Did they use highest GDP, highest average income? Highest median income? Total amount of hard assets headquartered in the City... Manhattan has some of most expensive real estate in world. I mean so does San Francisco, but NYC - all five boroughs - are much larger than San Fransisco. Looking at total GDP. Fucking Wall street. NYC has almost 3 times as many people as our 2nd largest city: Los Angeles. I could see Hollywood give Wall Street a run for it's money, but the Fed is based in NY. It's pretty much the banking capital of the world.
in reality #1 is San Jose Literally a fact San jose , CA has more millionaires per capita then every major city in the world accept 2 Oslo , Norway and Stockholm , Sweden
Sejal Khan nah San Francisco is actually number one. It has the most billionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world including San Jose. Try again. www.sfgate.com/bayarea/amp/billionaires-San-Francisco-world-report-wealth-x-13832316.php
Enigma Thank you. I'm American :P The only one of these cities I've been to is Dallas, and it was beautiful. My family is from Los Angeles, but they moved to Oklahoma before I was born... so I never got to see LA. It seems awesome there though.
Enigma I hope you can make it one day. It's nice to see foreigners who still like us, it seems like most foreigners think we're all mean fat slobs who hate immigrants. We're not all like that. I like Trump, and I love immigrants. I only want people to obey the law and come in legally :P Brazil seems like a cool place to visit. Like Rio or Sao Paulo. I'd like to go to those 2 cities once in my life, it seems fun. Can I ask which state or city you're in? I have a friend in Rio state (outside of Rio De Janeiro city)
Oh, thing you should know about the USA, is that most people are Christian (not Catholic though). Some people are atheist too. Oh, and you HAVE to go to college if you want to make a lot of money, unless you're like a welder.
Have been to 7 cities. I am writing now in Detroit and I like her as well. Downtown is exciting, and unban area like Troy, Birmingham, Bloomfield are richer than SF.
Bored PandaTV Im pretty sure that you don’t even know what a third world country is. 3rd world doesn’t equal poor. You mean developing. Africa is a great place to live and has some of the fastest developing countries/ economies on the planet. Latin America is also amazing. Americans have a very delusional perception of anywhere with lower living standards than America. Makes you sound like a moron
beautyxd omg right third world country doesn't mean poor lol and south Africa is the only country in Africa which is Developed. Go teach your 3rd grade economics to your developing African country's caused they are far behind India, China, pakistan, Philippines lol
Bored PandaTV They’re actually not. You’re just a delusional idiot lol. There’s places in those countries far better than countries in Africa and vice versa. And South Africa isn’t developed you stupid fuck. Do you actually know what it means to be a developed or developing country?
San Francisco The first on this list, but have a terrible homeless problem. People sleeping on the streets, tents built everywhere, garbage as well. No sense of sanitation at all.
Michael Jing tents are built everywhere dumb ass that’s only in a small part of the city known as the Tenderloin a low class neighborhood where nothing but hotel with drug addicts and no rich people live. You think rich people are going to have this in their neighborhood?? Lol you’re a joke. Stop believing everything faux news puts in front of your face. You have no sense of geography of SF probably never even been here get real. San Francisco is a very beautiful city with a lot of clean areas and a few bad areas. Get real. Also San Francisco’s homeless count is 8k and that’s not even the worse in California or the west coast. Seattle has 12k and LA has 60k.
Portland made the list but not Seattle? Weird.....didn't expect that at all.....especially considering our streets here in Portland are filled with homeless people and the city whines around about the difficulties of coming up with money for low income housing......where there's not a will, there's not a way?
USA is a developed country, what you expect, they can’t just tear everything down and build a more modern one like China, Japan is like USA too, all developed cities are all like this, tho they can definitely update those glasses to led and revotte their buildings and get rid of those old transportation and roads, but as a.voting democratic and capitalist country, you know their speed, it will take at least half year to refurbish a small bridge, all capitalist will think that the rest of the country can endure to live in 1900 world they will not spend extra cash to refurbish old one, the only thing they will do, if they really have to, is to build a new one, and why USA have trains that looked rotten, cuz capitalist have private planes, they don’t care about citizen, old trains and t station can still make the same money as the new one, what’s the point of upgrading them.
it is not really in reality it is San Jose Literally a fact San jose , CA has more millionaires per capita then every major city in the world accept 2 Oslo , Norway and Stockholm , Sweden
Glen Randall You do realize i was referring to millionaires per capita in a city proper right , you gave a list of UHNW not millionaires per capita , UHNW citizens are people with tens to hundreds of millions of dollars so you're either ignorant or an idiot.
Glen Randall www.google.com/amp/amp.kiplinger.com/slideshow/investing/T064-S001-where-millionaires-live-in-america-2018.html Not to mention San Jose is number in Major cities as i stated prior. Get owned
