The Mauser of the Shah; Persian Model 1309 Rifle 

Today I am back at Bull Moose Guns, taking a look at a fairly scarce Persian made Mauser rifle. The model 1309 was not know to exist until relatively recently as many examples in the past were believed to be Czech made and not Persian. later translations of the markings revealed there to be two versions both a domestic rifle made in Tehran, and similar rifles purchased form Czechoslovakia.
