I have a heat press from about 13 years ago that was used twice. I am having issues with getting rid of the Heat press box it leaves. Tried everything. Do you think the heat press is too old?
Love these videos - the information and Rich's friendly, encouraging, easy-going manner. Can anyone tell me if a heat press like this can be used to print a design that goes all the way up to the shoulder seams of a tshirt?
i always wonder how you guys just put the print on it and it always looks like super centered. how about when you make multiple of those shirts with the same print? how do you center the prints? just with the eye?
Anyone having an issue trying to do firm/heavy pressure. The magnet seems like it isn't strong enough on this heat press to stay closed. Any tips from people with this press?

I tried heat pressing a skull cap, but it seems like the heat stretched the material and made it flemsy and stretched. Any ideas on how to get trust right?
I'm over here debating if I should get the Stahl's Hotronix Auto Clam or the Geo Knight DK20 16X20. My heart is literally pounding cause I wanna go with the best lol. I think I want to invest in a good machine so I don't have to worry about upgrading anytime soon. Which one should I go for??

@@fromHeaven2LA understood i be stealing space in my. Lil area that a stand press comes in handy. So i feel you but they expensive unfortunately. I thought about uscutter as a alternative.

So if you are buying the gang sheets ; do you think buy a vinyl cutter is necessary? I am looking to do a clothing brand. Also are there any vinyl cutters that have compatible software with Macs?
Vinyl cutter would allow you to do multiple different designs while buying transfers will have you more invested in certain designs. It really just depends on your business model. I use the Graphtec with Illustrator on Mac.

Time and temp is dependent on the media (vinyl, dye sub transfer, plastisol transfer, etc) that you’re pressing. The media will come with instructions for temp, pressure, and time.
Man I can vouch for Stahls. I've had my 16x20 Hotronix thats 21 years old still running. Only took it to get repaired once and that was back in october after something broke during a move, but overall these presses are built to last. Solid vid Rich, peep my channel too.
I also have an older 16x20 Hottronix. It’s about 20 years old. Unfortunately as of recent, the temp is 40 degrees higher than it reads and the platen temp is inconsistent when checking with a temp gun. But he’ll 20 years i for more than my moneys worth. I’m wondering though, if my issues on the old one are fixable. I just ordered this one today but would love to have 2 working presses
Hey is your heat press giving you around the same temperature from all sides ? Just got mine and temperature are way off from one another and doesn’t even go what it’s set up
Your heat press has two time settings that will allow you to set different times when a two-hit application is required. For single-hit applications, simply set both time settings the same. Once the temperature is adjusted, press the Mode Select button again to advance to Time #1 Mode. The (SET) and (TIME) lights will illuminate, indicating you are in Time #1 Mode. Once you have Time #1 set, push the Mode Select button again to advance to Time #2 Mode. All three red LED lights will illuminate indicating you are in Time #2 Mode. Select the desired time and push the Mode Select button again to exit the time settings. All lights will be off and the press will return to the PRINT mode.

Peel it immediately and quickly as soon as the press comes up Make sure your heat temp is correct with a a heat strip or heat gun and make sure your pressure is heavy
@@HustleNinjas thanks for replying bro! I’m pressing at 320 for 15 seconds on highest pressure. Maybe my press isn’t accurate, but I don’t have a temp gun yet :(
@@vorutouzamaki2635 i ordered one on 04/28, by 06/01 my order status had not changed and heatpressnation kept increasing the delay from 4 weeks to 8 weeks to 10 weeks so I just canceled it. I then ordered from Stahls on 06/01 and received it on 07/26.
@@Mherch dude I order mine from stalph too! So happy to see this and that you got it right away. Plus we get warranty from them idk if heat press nation does that also. Yo but I’m happy that’s insane if they expect ppl to wait that long when there’s so many options out there. You bought any transfer yet ?
