It is so very simple. When I stop making myself miserable, I am happy. Just release attachments and aversions. Most people are more in survival than in happiness. Survival (hoarding, conquest, "security", protection, etc.) seems to be the most important thing when you think you are a body. But the body is small, vulnerable and doomed to die. If you know that you are not your body, then you are free to choose to have peace and power because there is no anxiety for the body, no fear of the future and no need to make yourself miserable the way that many people do. It is very simple and easy. If any of this seems difficult, remember, like most things, it is easy when you know what you are doing. You can learn this. It really is easy and worthwhile.
Brian Dillingham ......read this at 4:00 in the morning....been a Lester fan for years. Yours is one of if the clearest explanations I have come across in a long time. Thank you! And good night!
@@richardsrensen4219 Yes. Yet, if we want to, if we really want to go free, to have union with God, to become one with Christ - if we desire that above all - then we can.
Our growth is directly proportional to our desire for it. What would it take for me to be free right now? What would i be willing to do for absolute bliss right now? What would i be willing to give for absolute happiness and freedom? As an unlimited being right now, what am i doing that keeps me looking away from the freedom that i am? What am i doing that keeps me stuck? Why am i doing it? Can i let that all go? Can i be the freedom that i am right now?
All one needs to listen to is this one video, over and over again, and do as he suggests. It's really simple. Let go of "wanting" feelings... and magic happens!
@@bernadettemolloy9148 Breathing is key for me in letting go physically. You must feel the feeling or you don’t manifest what you are wanting. Trust your intuition that you are in the right place at the right time, learning steps as you are ready for them along the way. Take the pressure off yourself.. Everytime you listen to this, you hear more and more.
@@jb7milsir,it means that if I want to be good at something (lets say math) I must not posses the desire to be good but rather than I must believe that I am good at it.
@@bernadettemolloy9148 I would say a more accurate process is not "letting go" of feelings, but instead, Allowing them. When we allow whatever is coming up, as it comes up, no resistance, then it dissipates, naturally, it runs out. So, don't cling to "ideal" states, and don't resist "negative" feelings. - don't seek anything. - don't resist anything You don't do it separately from your day to day living,, it is incorporated into what you are already doing, day to day. Allow whatever comes up to be. The "goal" is to be in the process of continual allowing. After you become familiar with that sense, you can go after bigger fears, for example. Pick one and just allow yourself to experience all sensations related to that fear. Emotions express as body sensations . . . tightness, panic, fluttery stomach, shallow breathing, tingling, hot, sweaty heart beating, constriction, pressure, whatever, allow any sensations that arise around those emotions.
Thank you so much for sharing this teaching from Lester. It has been very helpful & valuable to listen to. I’ve added it to my personal RU-vid Lester Levenson Library ✨
Love this - never heard this audio before and I've listened to most of them. It's one of the best I've heard. The ego fights and always misunderstands or denies truth. If you listen to the people here, they are trying to take what Lester says and put it into a bottle of their own limited understanding. It's funny how they don't see that is the exact opposite of what Lester is saying here. Lester put it best - "Why doesn't it fit in with my garbage?"
It's so sad that Lester gave up being his supernatural self just because others might resent him. We need another Lester alive today that lives outside India.
anything that sets aside the self that controls Everything, or attempts to control everything...when that's set aside, all that's left is the grace of God through nature which is also Super-natural. by definition that's always abundant, fully satisfying and blissful.
I still can not believe Lester has not gone viral, or is he the only one that went free since his teachings ... Till Now I have not seen any of his followers be free... Not One Single One... Including Me... What Happened... I know Most of The teachers if not All... What Happened? :( Lester if You are an Omnipresent answer or does it matter? Just Asking My Brother ( the rest of me). :)
Dr. David R. Hawkins became free. He was Lester's student for years. You have to want freedom more than anything in the world, and for that to happen, you usually have to suffer a lot to get tired of the world as the Buddha said.
Perhaps we are not willing to pass the threshold of death into eternity and face the terror instead of pushing it down. To die to your false self. I want to pass that threshold but something stops me every time
The reason he hasn’t gone viral is that most of his videos are non sensical ramblings.. he constantly contradicts himself and doesn’t really explain things properly.. one minute he is saying let go of desire .. and then you can have anything you want.. in another video he admonishes a listener for’ giving up his goal’( which are desires) he then says we should all try and be millionaires.. he says we are attached to our bodies.. hence we don’t throw ourselves under a bus.. why didn’t lester throw himself under a bus. He talks about a guru who kevuatates cause his feet hurt so much.. why didn’t he just make his feet pain free.. he talks about tge miracles on his farm.. all he can come up with is he didn’t need to refill tge petroleum.. he talks about aliens 👽 from other countries.. just making up rubbish…
If you are desireless, then you can have everything ...but if you are desireless, you aren't bothered whether you get anything or not .....so why would you want to be a millionaire etc ..?....or why bother to take the best....why not go for freedom first?
"Just get rid of desires". OK, easy to say. I'm sure it seems all very obvious once you've had the realisation. "Just do this" "Just do that". The reality is Lester himself almost had to die before he came to his realisation, spending 42 years looking for happiness outside of himself in achievements, money, success, relationships and nearly killing himself in the process. It's all not so obvious and easy until you've already done it and seen it. He speaks the truth, but I'm not sure I like the way he's presenting it here, sort of admonishing people for not getting this obvious and easy thing that he only found out after nearly killing himself.
Not wanting it is because of the false ego survival issue. The feeling of getting hurt and dying, but you equate it as actual death. So just release this agony feeling whenever it arises up from the unconscious closet. Please correct me if i am not on the point yet or explanation is not sufficient. Thank you.
He means to release the beliefs that the source of your abundance is work and money. The more you release these beliefs, the more you allow money to come in ways that do not require work.
as the reply aaronelliott2100 says money can come in ways you don't know if you believe/have faith - as a long term Buddhist practioner, I see over and over, monks and nuns who have renounced money - over and over get everything they need and much more - especially those who obviously have higher levels of freedom ...and quite some years back after doing a Byron Katie event, I felt the need to test out the universe as Bk says the universe is friendly - I was in a foreign country and gave away my money, flight tickets, credit cards - the lot - and it was the most wonderful experience - people just gave to me - and everything I needed just came without me ever asking - it had a powerful result and for many years I have had no income and don't worry nearly as much as most people who have much more - it takes a leap of faith and a willingness to test it out and a decision to want freedom more than anything else ….
It’s not about working or not working. It’s about your emotional attachment to working or not working. When you let go of the attachment, doing what you need to do isn’t any harder or less enjoyable than doing what you think you want to do.
