I love this format and I think they should go back to it. That being said, KOC'S grade of D for Trae Young and B+ for Kevin Knox surely haunts him to this day

I was delighted he fell where he did because I thought not needing to be the guy - that's Jokic - or the #1 scorer - Murray (I mean, Jokic, but Jokic is such a well-rounded player whereas Murray, although not a 1-dimensional scorer, is a scorer first and foremost) - was perfect for MPJ. I really thought he'd go too high, to a team that wasn't going to be patient with him, and I think it worked out for the best for him as well as the Nuggets. I think there are probably teams that, with hindsight, *think* they should've taken him, but I'm not sure any of them would've been patient enough, smart enough, to get the best out of him.
@@StefanoLeone statement still stands true. Young had a bad series but he is still an incredible talent with many similiar traits as Luka. Luka is better, but so many people thinking Luka was gonna be a future all time great, simultaneously thinking trae Young was gonna be a bust made no sense to me lol
@@StefanoLeone similiar qualities are, they both can make any shots from deep. Both are great in isolation, geniuses in Pnr. Can make any read and any pass. Both are great finishers. Both can’t defend. This was all true at the draft.
@Natnael Guliano It's a cop out to say the Grizz or Pels because they got the two clear cut player who were miles and miles ahead of everyone else, those were easy picks. But taking Coby White and Daniel Gafford were really nice rotation picks for the Bulls. The problem is that they have the shittiest coach of all time that doesn't know how to develop or handle young players.
@Natnael Guliano oh lol my bad, I thought this was a vid from 2019 when I responded to you, in that case you are right that the Mavs won the fuck out of the 2018 draft. But even then I would say that the Bulls had a pretty good 2018 draft , just not HOF level. So yeah lol, miscommunication but we are both kind right.
