I love love love it! Last episode was a nice cheery on top of the cake. Sauron is just badass and they made sure they wrote a nice ethical struggle not to make him "just some evil dude that swings a huge mace in towering armor"
I give this episode top score. Even though everything is going to hell in Middle-earth, this season ended with a feeling of some hope. It all felt very much in the spirit of Tolkien. Love it!
I honestly don’t get the people that don’t like/enjoy this and slate it at every opportunity like just go watch something else then no one’s forcing you to watch. Think the series has been amazing. Can’t wait for season 3!
The first reason is that the show is anti-Tolkien. There is no tolkieneaque Middle Earth in Middle Earth. When viewers accept it is not Tolkien enters the second reason: often illogical script and character portraits.
@@Sanderus a lot of shows that make it to screen have adaptations same with marvel books, DC etc. Which brings me back to my same point don’t like it don’t watch it stick to the books.
@@richybirch5864 Maby hollywood should just be orgininal themselves instead of using the name of a very renown series. Because this show has nothing to do with Tolkien on a fundamental level. If people ask for examples to Tolkien fans, thats like asking why a Russian Lada is not the same as a Ferrari. They cant be compared. The only thing that Tolkiens works and this show are alligned on is the names of certain characters and the locations they are in. But if you want examples: Galadriel never goes to NUmenor to influence politics. two Durins alvie in the same timespan. Sauron is evil reincarnated, not a simp who got mad Galadriel wouldnt marry him. Gandalf was prepared eons for his journeys in the middle east not whatever the fuck we are witnessing now. Tom Bombadill is not tom bombadill. ORCS WITH WOMAND AND CHILDREN, they are fucking Evil creatures... Not to mention that for some reason Sauron wouldny be able to control them?? Morgoth created the Orcs for a single purpose! War and destruction.. I just realized that i actually have no interest whatsover to explain to dimwits why this has nothing to do with Tolkien because they are too bored to pick up a book in their lifes and swallow whatever they get forcefed by lazy retarded show writers.
I got the distinct impression that "Grand-Elf" (groan) wanted to um...er..."share his staff" with Nori. She was certainly giving him the Look. Maybe that was the real test...boink a proto-Hobbit or not.
@@mattgilbert7347 Then you clearly got the wrong impression. Lol. I didn't detect one iota of romance between them. It's almost like you haven't really watched or paid attention to the show, which wouldn't be surprising.
