More investment is needed for my AARM before it can truly be amazing
Based on your handbook, it's 40% more depo than me so you should have it easier than me. Part of the problem I saw is that you didn't convert to Dark element to make your run easier in Lost Isle 1F-3F I already upload my part of quick video on RM AA to pass Ponape 1-2F + Lost 1-3F + Ponape Secret and I clear all of them without using any Dish + Buff + anti-fatal + Runestone buff without big problem in my part And as always, I also didn't use any M.Def switch since it's too much of hassle and I don't have enough zeny to make 2nd set of m.def switch. I also didn't use any healing items such as honey, berry etc at all since it's too costly. You can check my manual + auto slot to confirm it also since you already have good m.def and m.attack, I don't think you need to put endure in your prepare of elite just for extra 100 m.def, especially if you already M.Def switch. Just swap Endure with Sword Parry as extra survivability. Besides Concentration also granting endure effect in case you need endure to avoid stagger effect Provoke is useless in manual slot unless you're doing WSA doing tanker role so better swap with Death Binding so you can do Death Binding + Asphyxia combo. I personally will either put prepare for elite or the death awakens in auto slot and swap it with Heart of Steel. You can use Heart of Steel + Frenzy combo as extra survivability when Asphyxia in cooldown
I think the RM still can finish PVE smoothly the hard part is building the two gears and I can see that sooner or later it will have a come back 😂 - genrou20 sea
You forgot the very first time legends museum was released, the mvp bosses had demihuman damage reduction.. which runemaster could completely bypass with his demonic transform buff..😂
I played RM AA from game released till now, and I agree with this. but here's my advice why you easily fail Lost Isle 3F while I can solo clear it easily, despite my depo is still only 98% and I never use M.Def switch (too expensive and hassle to use) I suspected that you didn't convert to dark element at all using abyss arrival skills when doing Lost from 1F to 3F. Especially at 2nd phase of 3F when you need to hit heart in the middle of map. If you convert to dark element, heart is very easy to destroyed also RM AA mostly need baphomet card (almost non negotiable) due to lack of AOE target which is of course a bad things and waste of card slot. But as RM AA, you have no choice at all, especially if you want to do weekly easier such as EC, Oracle, WSA etc 1 of the main important reason you forgot to mention why RM AA losing to other jobs you tried (Khalitz, Rath, Ronin and even RM MDB) is server delay. Since game released, server delay is RM AA's biggest enemy since most of the hits are very slow to be registered. That's the same case as when you farm, it's much better to use offline farming instead of online farming. Or if you use dummy system to track how many hits registered, you will see there's no difference in hits registered between 480% aspeed VS 500% aspeed (that's why Doppelganger star card is trash tier and useless) All the jobs you mention and you said it yourself, have skills that deal damage tick per 0.5 seconds, therefor less affected by Server Delay. For example such as Rathgricy that has AOE skills that active and last 3 seconds and skill itself dealing damage per 0.5 seconds which means total of 6 ticks of damage per skill, making Rath's hit much more easier to be registered. Not to mention the CD of skill is shorter than total of duration of skills so it can be stacked easily. You definitely can't stack RM AA's hit just like those jobs you mentioned that has AOE skills can deal damage per 0.5 seconds and last for 2-3 seconds my advice as AA RM Players : yeah nothing we can do, just play RM AA if you love it

@@WobblyWallaby I mean it's literally what it is, for example you can check below skills explanation of : - "Memory of Petals" from Khalitzburg job which states the skills deal damage every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds but only have 1.5 seconds CD - "Blade of Orders" from Rathgricy job which states the skills deal damage every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds but only have 1.5 seconds CD - "Slash Light" from Ronin job which states the skills deal damage every 1 seconds for 3 seconds but only have 1.5 seconds CD notice the similarity above ??? those jobs can literally deal another skill damage before even first skill damage finish, not only stacking it but also make it easier for the damage hits to be registered due to damage tick per 0.5 seconds or 1 seconds. And as cherry on top, all of those skills are AOE damage skills Meanwhile combine with video regarding Doppelganger bug (500% aspeed vs 480% aspeed) which me and other player shared + tons of farming testing result (offline vs online grinding) then you can see the obvious server delay. I mean as long time player, you must be already experiencing yourself in online farming that sometimes you need to hit monster twice despite with your crazy damage, you do know you only need 1 hit to kill monster. That baphomet card in my experience is much more useful than +15 Heaven, hence I used it even when I still use +10 heaven and up till now. No matter how strong your RM is, it gonna waste lot of times to just hit 1 by 1, especially in weekly such as Oracle, WSA, EC, Ponape, Lost, Secret etc. Combined with server delay I explained above and RM rely on auto attack, just do splash damage

Hero classes changed rom from mmorpg into some kind of strange idle solo "game". I have zero respect for players who use them. But to all those brave people who still enjoy adventure classes - you guys are the goats and you all keep the spirit of og ragnarok in this p2w crap. Don't get discouraged by lazy power chasing loosers.
@@LetMeDrinkYourTears people are fixated on soloing instances because there is nothing to do in this game. Weeklies take max 3 hours, and after that, there is nothing to do beside hour of gvg and some bs “events” like mvp battle....
I like that you can carry instances, since that let's new players take part. I have two friends who play and one is a returnee from years ago and one is fairly new. Hero classes let newish players catch up, otherwise if everything took AARM levels of investment and time, people would quit. To keep this game going, the devs need to attract new people since many veteran players have left.
@@WobblyWallaby I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you. In my opinion, hero classes were firstly made to boost sales of bcc rune boxes. The biggest paradox of rom is that it tires now to be a computer mmorpg. And mechanics went against this transition. Hero classes are perfect for mobile because it's difficult to manage many skills on a touch screen, and adventure classes are more suited for keyboard+mouse combo. Everything in this game is upside-down.
AARM is still top tier when it comes to clearing weekly dungeons. The only reason it not being use like it was back in the days is cause it’s too expensive. If your depo is low and don’t have all the end game gears/enchants/cards, it will not do it any justice.
Yeah, I lack the proper enchants and min/max, so my damage is nowhere near optimal. Unfortunately have high depo doesn't mean you'll do well with AARM.

@@Login5525 no, i've been there when aa rm rules, i ve been playing for 5 years. but now is different, there are many classes outperform aa rm in terms of efficiency and effectivity, that in my opinion, aa rm cannot be put in the same pve tier with ronin, rathgricy, sara alin, fenrir, or khalitz.

4:14 yeah my saitama class really game changing my weekly run (previously doram) its so good and can keep up dmg with my guild member top dps, and can clear first week ponape secret realm, using Vs to by pass aoe bomb the only downside its malee dmg dealer
Saitama was a real life saver in our guild too. I used to be carried a lot when I was weaker and after he showed up, we went through weeklies a lot easier. If only Saitama had better AOE, then he'd be amazing in more instances too. I stopped him because I had trouble using him in oracle dungeon to clear mobs when I carry, Rath was my goto for a while when she came out.

I don't have those guards to test, but congrats on dragon card, that is a nice one! My RM is definitely not ready for PvP, so I can't do proper tests either.
Back when I main Ronin, the mdef switch gets very tiring in WSA lol. A fun mechanic, but quite stressful when there's lot of chaos happening. Okay if there's a tank :)

I heard that huge price drop. Global's prices were never that high, but it feels bad for people that spend 7B on +15 heavens and now the value has dropped so much. SEA prices are always crazy!
yep I'm AA RM players since game released and up till now in SEA server it was once hit 9B when RM hit peak popularity, almost as expensive as moonlight card once Heroes job was out (even since Thanatos job), the price of heaven ironically fell from heaven really hard. Each times they release new heroes and collab jobs, it keep depreciate harder and faster currently now only 600m at SEA, it's even cheaper than 1 Walter card

If RM got SH range, then he'll be great for farming lol. I think AARM just needs an option to deal a bit of damage over time and then it'll be good. The same treatment slash light got for Ronin, which basically turned him into a God in instances after.

My favorite part was recapping the history, I also refined a +10 HA early on in my ROM career but never really worked on my RM after that, my main jobs are DA and Khalitzburg nowadays, but I dabble in Thor for PvP. I would love an RMDB +15 spear but then I guess I would also have to collect MDEF gear and I'm not sure I'm up for the task xD.
Intances dungeon or void realm, dps/supp? In my alt acc i have Dps job 1.) begetter homunculus build (unlock 3rd line void rune) Can Solo limited mvp void, can kill cat mvp in VR 2-3.) rath/khalitz 7/7 * Also invest equip/item/card in supp job Ex. Saint
Don't listen to those brain-dead players repeating rath or khal. Find the class YOU enjoy to play. Don't be like 90% of player base chasing meta with the same copy cat builds.
These days I recommend rathgricy and khaltizburg. I think it's best to start as rath, since she has survivability so you won't keep dying when in instances. Once you want to start contributing to the DPS more, than khalitzburg is better.
Buying it felt like a luxury car....it immediately dropped in value and continues to lose zeny as people switch to other classes. But, I guess like a vintage car, I had to have a piece of ROM history with an AARM build :)
@@ogreking6266 That's what I feel when I bought +15 heaven for first time, only to harshly find out in next hour when doing weekly instance that it's just a very first basic baby step to never-ending grinding because the damage boost is still dependent on other entire gears + cards + depo + rune etc
I uploaded video of my RM AA doing solo Ponape 1F-2F + Lost 1F-3F + Ponape Secret Realm I have 40% less depo and did way less damage than yours but I can solo without problem I don't even use dish + meal + runestone buff + anti-fatal dish + m.def switch + any healing items

@@taiminsen8069 you have some incredible cards, shadow equipment, and oracle mirror. Those are definitely optimizations for RM. I need to save up for those :) the Baphomet card is probably the next card I am saving up for. Sadly no zeny at the moment :(
@@WobblyWallaby I said it before that I played RM AA since game released so yeah no other jobs I invested other than RM AA. And even then it's still very far if you compare to whales (especially depo, enchantment and MVP cards) second, if you check and compare the damage between your run and my run, it clearly shows your damage is way higher than me despite gear and oracle mirror differences. The difference was survivability and skills used when you're doing run Here's my advices : - Change Endure in your Prepare for Elite and change it into Sword Parry for 50% chance to block damage, at your level of depo 100 m.def from endure is just tiny negligible boost, especially if you're still doing M.Def switch - Change Provoke in manual skill slot to Death Binding, so you can do Death Binding + Asphyxia Combo for higher damage. Also if possible, cast Death Binding first before Asphyxia since Death Binding last 10 seconds while Asphyxia only 8 seconds. - Do Frenzy + Heart of Steel combo to survive if your Asphyxia is still in cooldown - Always convert your attack to Dark Element especially if monsters have high Holy Reduction
I hope there is a Bapho Star card coming up, which can enlarge the attack area and increase more dmg so it wont sacrifice too much dmg while slotting this card, then AARM problem can be solved, hehe
hardly gonna happened despite I also wish for it the reason simply is it's not profitable in real life for Dev to make star version of old MVP card such as Baphomet card or Orc Hero card since players just buy it from exchange instead and that means they won't spend real money / BCC. That's why they keep releasing new MVP cards instead to ensure player spend real money / BCC since it's very hard to buy from exchange one of obvious example is MVP cards they released in last 3 months such as lord of death, soul player and yggdrasil. They released alien version instead of star version which is different version and not using old stock MVP card in exchange Based on how Dev rolled out update, Our better bet is they released Alien Baphomet instead Baphomet star card. Still, I do hope they upgrade old MVP card that still has no star version though
Hi Wobbly! I noticed AA User is kinda similar to AA RM in terms of dmg computation mechanics, but much better since it’s dmg and m dmg combined rather than mdef. Not to mention pen and ignore def. I feel like the more the game gets saturated with different job classes and ever evolving dungeons, the more the old classes will be less likely to be of use. Anyways, RIP to my +15 HA it’s now collecting dust at storage. Cheers! 🤣🥲
Tips: -After casting asphyxia, cast death binding right after to get a damage bonus -In lost isle 3f, cast abyss arrival on the spot where the red orbs are supposed to spawn so the red orbs get killed as soon as you kill the Drake/Strouf/Devil Squid (i.e. you dont have to manually hit the red orbs anymore). That makes the Heart available for hitting asap

Dark element do more damage since MVP and mobs at Lost have very high Holy element resistance - use Baphomet card to make your life as RM AA easier, especially in weekly that need you to clear mobs such as Ponape, EC, Oracle, WSA, Secret etc. Should be easy since Baphomet is around the same price of even cheaper than Mino star card - get rid of those green skill runes and use new star runes with 3rd line activate, especially if your battle will last more than 30 seconds for survivability - if you're tanky enough to avoid death, then cast Death binding first then Asphyxia second. It's because Death Binding last 10 seconds while Asphyxia only 8 seconds - Utilize frenzy + heart of steel skills combo (double max hp + 90% damage reduction) if your asphyxia is in cooldown to help you survive more
Bro im mdb ,and have good runes like Mdb star runes 77/80% Mdb s runes 29/30% If i switch khalitz with no runes ,will it be better? Or how many runes i need to have better dps Im not using mdef switch coz im lazy sometimes 😅
I personally think Khalitzburg is better since you can convert. With the dark convert meta being very popular, you can use holy. Being able to convert to any element makes it very flexible. I am also too lazy to do mdef switch, so I prefer Khalitzburg and I currently use her for all my weeklies (except TTL where I use Ronin to taunt the guards).
I have tried magic doram a few months back and I personally don't think it is worth it for PvE. The damage is just not there. I only have 1 +15 accessory though as it is hard to find it. I also have the weapon at +12. With 140% depo I still struggle with the legend golem. I think magic doram is good for PvP though
