I always thought the actors in this episode looked nothing like the individuals being portrayed. To the credit of the woman portraying Kath, it actually looked quite realistic how she would only blink one eye just as the real Kath would, due to the glass eye.

That would be the day my son at the age of majority would speak to me like that. I'd kill him, and he wouldn't know what hit him. The minute my kid looked like he would be beyond, he'd be gone. We are all capable of murder. You just have not had the right button pushed on you. I hope you never do. It is an insane feeling. The cop was right when he said most don't cause they have a realization of what you'll loose. Sometimes Loss is all you have. Makes murder ok. Such as the dad that would murder his childs molester. Coping tools in ones toolbox can smooth BS only for so long. God bless all even the evil.

I understand her not wanting her kids to become what they did but just buying a shirt with my son the doctor on it won't mean it'll work out like that, it takes more than that to keep them heading in the right direction, it takes many different things to keep them in line, like after school things which they like instead of chilling with other kids who don't care what they do, even if it means getting in trouble with the police etc,

Definition of hell on earth in my experience - put long term meth use with underlying mental health issues and a criminal social micro culture, even the Victorian police were scary in those days. A horrible existence for so many people :( and very hard to escape...very scary especially in Melbourne and Tasmanian urban communities
