As The Burning Dawns flagship fortress The Fire Demon launches a full scale offensive on Gohda Castle the final battle of the rebellion takes place. 🔥🌅🥷🍀
Just some hastily recorded ending cinematics filmed of Tenchu 2 Birth of the Stealth Assassins. A title that 14 year old me absolutely adored way back when, the different perspectives & overall narrative really resonated and tis a title I will always be nostalgic for. Rikimaru an Tatsumaru endings.

Ah thanks Raza buddy one of the earliest memories I have of being sucked into a story an watching the narrative an character development unfold. The videogame couple video sparked how much I appreciated this one so felt it would be nice to put something up on the channel to honor it a little. The final words between Lady Kagami & Rikimaru really stuck with me over the years.🎮🌠🍀

Ah thanks Glen, yea lots of choas and drama in this one. Think it was one of the earliest memories I have of sympathising with a few of the antagonists in the story.🔥🎮🍀

100% agree Stew, one of the reasons I wanted at least some love given to it on the channel, even if that's merely a phone captured clip or two with a thumbnail of the Fire Demon. Looks pretty epic mate. Though I was Playstation guy back then, I didn't play this. I think most of the time I was playing FIFA, but I did play a fair bit of MGS and Mrs T played Croc & Crash Bandicoot a lot. I really ought to start working through the back catalogue.

Oh I played my fair share of Metal Gear Solid an Crash..even the first Croc haha! Tenchu is one of the most nostalgic titles I can think of an personally I always thought this was the strongest in the series, especially story/character wise. If you do tackle that backlog I hope you have a good pixelated venture Richard!🎮🌠⚔️🍀

Reading the description is this from Tenchu 2? I don't' think I gave Tenchu 1 enough playtime. It seemed pretty difficult when I was trying to play it back in the day. So I gave up on the series. I feel like I missed out it now. This cinematic explains the ending or even potentially the start of a very powerful story which now I want to get involved in. I might have to give it a go.

This is indeed Tenchu 2 buddy, a prequel to the first title an honestly one of the best prequel/origin story's I've ever seen, was also one of the first titles that the overall narrative allegories an character developments really captured my imagination. The gameplay was quite tough an unforgiving but once you got to grips with some solid tactics an focused mainly on stealth kills for basic enemies etc it becomes manageable. Although I enjoyed Tenchu 1/3, this one was my favourite by far. Hope they remake it someday. Or at least bring the series back from the shadows.🤞🌠🎮🍀

@@pappabeargaming The original Tenchu's story was more straightforward an most of the information was given by simple audio/text before missions, Tenchu 2 fleshed out the characters an story far more. Interesting to see how the ole Ninja who controls like a tank at times would hold up these days gameplay wise haha.🐻🥷🍀

I feel they ripped off brave heart in that cut scene. Which given the time frame (1995 to 2000) would have still been fresh on people’s minds at the time so it does make you raise a brow. Tenchu was a cult classic for me and my friends. Sadly never got to play any versions past the original.

Ole Mels Braveheart was big in Japan ha one of my favourite films as a kiddo🎬. I much prefer Kagami's context an personal delivery here as there's no invading oppressing foreign force involved, it's more internal/cultural she see's Rikimaru as a fellow slave(albeit an indoctrinated one) of the greedy power hungry landlords/samurai classes who use an abuse them to keep control/influence. What I really enjoyed of this title was it was the first time I recall sympathising with a fair share of some the antagonists perspectives. Despite their desperate cruel measures that thankfully often get called out during the narrative. Pitty you didn't play this one buddy, I enjoyed the first Tenchu but they improved in every aspect on this prequel to me.⚔️🌅🍀

Tenchu was a big series starting on the PS1 buddy a pioneer of the stealth genre titles but fizzled out after 3/4 big titles. Hopefully it'll return from the shadows someday soon.⚔️🌠🍀
