Thank you man, it got copyright struck last time and I kinda lost motivation for RU-vid for a while. Sorted a lot of stuff out in my life now though and I actually have motivation for stuff again, even started making music again lol
9:58 You are 100% wrong. Tak was a success to the point where two more games where made (those games being Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge), and later on, the cartoon was made. The cartoon being VERY unfaithful to the series as well as it's shoddy animation is the reason why the series went under.
Wow the THQ Humble Bundle is a throwback, I bought it when it was on, to this day the THQ bundle hasn't been beaten in selection for the price but with the story you've laid out I doubt/hope we won't have another one by a dying game Dev....
24:08 You are wrong, Nordic games bought Rainbow studios at the same time, they bought all the thq ips. Even more Thq stuff was hire to make the thqnordic american division. The new owners are different, however they always tried to make ports with the original teams and for example both sequels of Darksiders (3 and Genesis) were new studios founded by members of the original Darksiders team. Thqnordic itself bought one of the studios. So it is not 100% new. The new owners of the brand and Ip, took care of buying not just the licenses also hiring the people envolve in the originals.
THQ Nordic also published the incredibly successful arcade banger racing game 'Wreckfest' in 2014, which is still going strong with full servers to this day! Highly reccomend
