The Rise and Potential Fall of Strathberry! 

I don't believe 100% of customers' reviews. I work for a brand that sells online, too. I see that what they describe that is often not what the situation was. They are lazy to read warranty, shipping, and return policies, they lie, they don't mention cruitial points. Some just come to express their frustration, throw hate, and shade. Emotions go first, not facts. And yes, there are always defective items in production, mistakes made by the warehouse (such as sending a returned used item). That's life. My personal experience with them was 10 out of 10. I'd never call 5 negative reviews on trustpilot a downfall of any brand.

I was on the lookout for a new workhorse handbag of a good enough quality that I could use it daily but it would stay nice looking for many years. I didn't spending a little extra for the quality so I was researching a lot of midluxury brands and used youtube videos like your own and Tanner L's to see where I could get my money's worth but also looked on trustpilot reviews etc. For months the strathberry osette shopper was the number 1 option on my list for multiple reasons and last month I finally pulled the trigger. I'm so so happy with it and haven't had any issues with it at all. I even wrote the cs team before buying because I had a question about the dimensions that weren't listed on the website. My first reply was super quick, the second not so much, but as soon as I followed up I got another fairly speedy reply. The trustpilot reviews did concern me, especially as their international return policy is a bit awkward, but I haven't seen a single fault on it. All in all it's my new baby and I've been super happy using it daily. I do agree that their newer designs just seem a little boring and/or uninteresting, but we shall see how they do in future seasons.

Strathberry customer service are second to none. They allowed me to exchange a bag that was out of the exchange period and I am SO grateful. They are a superb company and I love my Mosaic Nano.

As you mention new designs think of the success of Birkin and Kelly bags - same design, different materials - same concept. Always looking for new, new, new does not equate to quality.

Poor sales rep service shouldn't be assumed it's Strathberrys fault it could have just been a bad sales rep. Sad that you accuse 'Strathberry' is to blame and this is to be expected as normal behaviour. I have received both excellent and poor service from many so called luxury brands, sales reps are notorious for judging a book by its cover that's not necessarily a company's policy. I bought my first Strathberry last year excellent service, perfect bag absolutely no complaints.

I hear the quality is declining, but I still have the classic top handle on my wishlist. 😅🤦‍♀️

It's sad when People feel compelled to advertise their acquisitions by clearly showing the maker's name.

A classic leather designbrand at 500 Euros is unsellable in EU. Women buy cheaper and ecological or far more expensive. It is like a BMW 3 M series. I like those Strawberry bags though but there are no buyers for. Maybe quality controll must be reviewed but it is not exceptional that quality fails in many brands.

I found the prince too high, but when it was on sale at a holt Renfrew, they were all damaged.

Reddit seemingly is being used for character assassination. Not just for brands. There are those who create reddit accounts just to bash vloggers, too.

Are you sure you like Strathberry ? This is a negative reveiw based on others experience however you claim to have had no issues with the brand yourself. Glorifing entitled behaviour like bashing a company for not taking a third party purchase is unsound. Brands don't always get it right. Ive had to send back one of my 3 SB bags for replacement and I agree the Bay bag is not exciting but the target audience seems to love it. You may not know this but some customers are not always honest, some get unhinged when they don't get their way as highlighted in your video.

I discovered Strathberry in it's early days. I have gorgeous bags! I'd buy them direct, had wonderful customer service and the quality/workmanship was better than my LV handbags!!! Then Markle started carrying them and I decided not to buy any more of them. I figured that once they were made popular, quality, etc. would decline. What a shame. I have beautiful bags from them and won't buy anymore.
