Psa about getting health issues checked out. I went in to urgent care 3 times in 3 months about severe pain in my knee. I got xrays, nothing showed up. They treated me like i just wanted pain meds. Finally i got them to refer me to a specialist and she diagnosed me with a tumor in less than 10 minutes. A month later i had surgery to remove the tumor that had liquified the top part of my tibia. I was walking around for at least 9 months on eggshell thin bone. If they dont listen to you, push harder, if they still wont listen go to someone else. Push ubtil you get answers. You shouldn't have to push so hard to receive the care you need, but it can seriously mean life or death.

For some reason we are not actively told about this despite the fact that we are at risk of testicular cancer at a much younger age (17-40 is the standard age range) than for prostate cancer. Today is the day of my Grandpa’s Wakekeeping. He died to head cancer last year December, and I cried because it could’ve been avoided long ago because the doctors never took it serious until it hit last October. I only knew of it when my step father told me why he was in the hospital and less likely of energy. My Grandpa was still young if spirit, and seeing him unable to do anything just upset me. Always stay close to your loved ones folks, 2023-2024 seems grim, and you never know. It’s a sad reality.

51:33 I do agree, we should have both. We should have the option to play with either body types, and not be restricted to Male Option A and Female Option B, with no customization at all. It's one of the reasons Harvestella put me off so much, because the body type barely changed based on your gender, and neither were appealing to me. I've played MMORPGs where the body types were the exact same twink-build, for men and women, which I found a lot more entertaining especially with some of the outfits you could get ingame and shop-purchased as a skin, 'cause some heavy armor made you look badass, while others let you be a cute lil' catboy or girl. That bridge was such a valuable landmark and it sucks to lose such a beautiful part of charm city. The view from looking out over the bridge was always beautiful even with the murkiness of the water below it

The thing with the Baltimore bridge collapse reminds me of the Minnesota I35w bridge collapse. I was a child when it happened, but I remember having an aunt who had drove over it just 10 min before it collapsed. Even though it was a much smaller bridge, it had a much higher death and injury toll because it happened during rush-hour morning traffic. I completely agree, if the Baltimore bridge was struck during rush-hour it would have been SO MUCH worse, like I35W x 10.

We can absolutely have both unrealistic men and women characters, but the difference between those unrealistic male characters when compared to female characters is that the men just are usually just muscular, but meanwhile the women typically have larger badonkaroos or hips, which outside of surgery and some workouts (but even then results vary so much) are just genetic and you can't really do much. Making hot characters is great, but at the same time, the comparison of "i should hit the gym" and "i wish i had 'better' (according to the ever changing beauty standards) genetics" really aren't the same.

Alright, so at my old job I was able to volunteer for the creation of a newly made DEI board, working with others from scratch to create it. At its core, DEI isn't racist at all - the whole point of the 'Equity' in DEI, as opposed to using a word like 'Equality', is the recognition that due to cultural differences between different races, cultures, and even just habitats equal isn't necessarily equal. So in effect what DEI is is stating 'Attempting to be inclusive to a diverse population by attempting equity between different cultures'. Now bear in mind, I did say 'at its core'. The problem is that when talking about DEI, as with talking about MANY subjects, how it's put into practice is always the issue. DEI was oftentimes used as a sudden response to Black Lives Matter, alongside various other cultural and racial movements picking up steam. Not to say DEI didn't exist before then, but the BLM movement really put things into a bit of an overdrive. With something like that happening, it's obvious that sometimes the way companies are putting DEI into practice won't be done so in an entirely positive or proper manner. Sometimes companies will think an 'immediate' response is a better response, if only to try to either put out potential housefires or even just garner reputation for being 'culture-friendly'. Ultimately, I do think DEI efforts CAN do a lot of good wherever they're put in place, but as with all things people have to be mindful that the faster you move to institute something, the more possibility of making mistakes in the implementation. Oh, but no DEI shouldn't just be a new moniker for 'black' lol. I don't know if that's what they were trying to say there, but if they were then that would just be silly.
