@@twentysecondcenturywoman Exactly. Boader is wide open and ICE is punished for trying to stop illegals from coming through so why waste time with the pointless official way in?
I'm Australian and I used to live in the USA until I had my visa revoked for absolutely no reason what-so-ever when I was abroad in Europe for work. I was therefore stranded in Berlin and unable to board my flight back to NYC (where my home and entire life was located). I was a full-time musician and about to start a nation-wide tour of the US and Canada also. Therefore the entire tour was effected and I essentially lost my home, all of my close friends, most of my belongings and my career was absolutely flipped on its head. Like you, I also hired the best immigration lawyers I could find. And after a mountain of legal fees and a lengthy process, every application I made was rejected and I was never given an official reason. The decision of that one individual quite literally changed the trajectory of my life. I still can't believe it tbh.
Damn, you’re lucky tho, cuz you’re Australian, you have a good passport and your home country is a first world country, I am from Algeria and I got my visa revoked and now I’m back to a third world country with a horrible passport that can’t go anywhere, my whole job as a research scientist is gone now and I can’t even find a job here that pays more than $7k a year
Long story short I was stuck in the immigration web for 21 years, clean record all, paperwork, lawyer. The judge assigned to me didnt like how ny middle name was spelled. 6 months after he retired i became a citizen!
I know right!!! Hahaha seeing him get that mad is like nothing I've ever seen in these videos. He didn't even get this mad when someone was threatening him with real weapons. 😭😭😭😂😂😂
It seems the person who uploaded this video is used to getting his way. If anything, gamers are more dangerous than most people because they've been responsible for so many of the you-know-whats in high schools.
I wouldn't be surprised if these immigration officers just held spite towards specific individuals and the guy in charge of Charlie's case just rejected him purely based on that. "Don't tell me how to do my job" type shit.
The immigration guy is just doing his job. If Charlie doesn't like the immigration laws in this country, he can move somewhere else. He probably mourned over OJ yesterday.
Like he said in the video, they're still competing in the tournament, just not under the Moist eSports name. So whoever this clown is a fan of (hypothetically) is still gonna see their team smashed by the same players 😂
I kid you not, I quite my job as an immigration investigator because of nonsense like this. It was horrible and it didn't even matter what I'd say or who I would approve because immigration seriously has quotas on who they turn away, no explanation needed. It was a soul-crushing job.
Quotas makes sense, but they should be honest about that. Keeping things a secret is just cruel. What’s crazy is instead of stopping illegals, laws stop legals by not having repercussions for doing jobs poorly.
Sure is a strange feeling to see Charlie report something I already knew loads about for a change. Had a then-girlfriend from Peru try to get into the country via the embassy. Everything done right, paperwork submitted months prior, letters of referral from the university she was applying to. And even though she barely had enough money to scrape by, she paid hundreds of dollars out of pocket for not just the appointment, but also the flight TO the embassy, because there's only like one or two checkpoints in a fucking country, and the appointments all have to be done in person. Months of buildup, of prep, of sleepless nights, and the agent that met her refused to even look at any of the paperwork she spent so much time preparing. It took him fifteen seconds to say no to her. I can't remember another time I was so upset, and I've seen people on the receiving end of some pretty fucked up shit. With everything that's wrong with Immigration, is it any wonder why so many people are just choosing to hop a fence instead?
The only people who have an issue with fence hoppers are the ones who have never had to deal with immigration themselves (read as: "never left Texas") and have no empathy for anyone who ever has. I wouldn't consider it a stretch at this point that most people who work at immigration abuse their power for a daily ego boost.
Quotas makes sense, but they should be honest about that. Keeping things a secret is just cruel. What’s crazy is instead of stopping illegals, laws stop legals by not having repercussions for gov employees doing jobs poorly.
I dont blame ya boss, as an American, and a child of immigrants, our system is about as effective as a Volkswagen Beetle racing at Talledega Superspeedway. I can say this from personal experience. I have an adult-aged sister who lives in Mexico, she's 25 while Im 15. For the past 6-8 years, my sister, my mom and us have been trying our best to get her a passport to legally emigrate from Mexico to the US. The system is very slow. It will takes weeks to months to even get an update on the passport issue. We would have to go to our local Mexican consulate, and my sister would have to go to the US Embassy in Guadalajara to try and speed up the process, and nothing ever works. We started the process in 2016-2018. We may finally get to see her by the end of this year. Its been a wild ride, and it reminds me on the daily how our system is a clownshow.
My ex was here for school and had to go back to Australia for a funeral. When she tried to come back she found out her student visa was now denied. She resubmitted paperwork, the fees, goes through another interview, she got a letter from the college dean, I submitted proof that she had a place to stay and she was still denied. People who have never had to deal with immigration or with someone they care about crying because they're doing everything right and still can't come don't understand how broken it is.
The idea that a singular person can say "you're not allowed in the country because I said so" and be denied every repeal despite having literally everything and everyone involved vouching for them is fucking insane Edit: oh god what have I done, I didn't want this to start a political debate. I just wanted to make a somewhat joke statement about how ridiculous this situation is.
I'm told be very reliable and mature sources, hundreds of them, that coming to the country is a privileged and not a right, so they should accept whatever is done to them and if they don't like it, should go home.
They are. And simultaneously entry for legitimate travelers is made difficult for no reason. So not only is our immigration system broken, its REEEAAAAALLLY broken @liljimmy8248
Similarly frustrating thing happened with a previous coworker of mine, he was a federal employee with a clearance, left for a few years to work with an international agency on of the US gov. Got married in this time frame, comes back after his position overseas was ending only to be told by immigration his marriage of several years was fake and his wife could not be allowed in the country for any reason.
I’d like to believe that the U.S immigration agent was 100% a sneako fan and was sitting there like, “I’ve been calling it clips my whole life i’d be damned too call it a magazine”
Call your Senator! It worked for me to get my 2 year-old stepson into the US. After I called my Senator, it took two days after explaining the situation to his clerk and we got all call two days later saying it was approved for him to enter the country.
I think given he has world class lawyers, they would have thought of this and probably tried it, or would have just known it'd be a pointless effort in this specific case
Whatever happens from here, you need to lodge a formal complaint against the agent who handled the matter sighting pure incompetence and possible biased processing.
Honestly I want to see the 'MoistCritical Takes on the Broken American Immigration System' docuseries so badly... If he teams up with Hbomberguy it'll be top trending.
Honestly? It sounds like the agent has money in it. Either his money against them or against them giving money to him. There is no other reason I can even think of that one agent would block them.
I used to work for immigration. The amount of absolute pure fucking incompetentce and stupidity i saw while working there haunts me to this day. I've seen so many people's lives straight up ruined due to immigration officers fucking up some paperwork and then refusing to rectify the situation because that would be admitting fault. Some will let grumpiness and having a bad day influence their decisions. Some are just straight up racist. There's 0 accountability. Oh, and the USCIS customer service phone workers get next to 0 training and there's super high turnover. Hope you feel comfortable putting your life in the hands of someone whose experience with immigration law is a couple of PowerPoints and literal trial and error teaching themselves as they go.
@@Account-jn7xu You do realize that America has been an immigrant nation since our foundation right? All throughout our country's history every major breakthrough in industry/infrastructure has been built on the back of mass influxes of migrant workers seeking citizenship. Please don't spit that "isolationism" shit because it's just bigoted rhetoric parroted by people who want to keep our country "pure". Our country was founded by immigrants for other immigrants that are fed up with how their country treats them.
I never thought the U.S immigration was too bad and then I married a natural born Colombian. We got married at the end of 2021 and she just got her green card. She has been in this country for 11 years on asylum and apparent it only took 3 years for this process because I am a veteran, so that was EXPEDITED. It's one of the main aspects of America that bring me shame.
Right? People who want to go through the processes are declined with no explanations, yet... anywhere past our southern border is hemorrhaging with no real fixes. Its absolutely backwards.
I feel his pain. A while back I applied for a student visa to the US and believe me when I say this, I didn't come short on my end at all. The college I was enrolling in accepted me and I got all my paperwork in order but to my surprise, I got rejected by the US immigration office in my country all for no reason whatsoever. The guy reviewing my case had no mercy on any of the people applying at his window. He rejected everyone who approached him one after one and my poor luck set me up with him and all is history. I will never forgive that man as long as I walk on this green earth. I pray for his downfall every chance I get and I truly think he's the reason I got rejected. No one can fathom how clean and sorted out my paperwork was. The interview went super natural and jolly but for some reason he turned me down. Corruption is real and people like him have to be fired and thrown back to his country to truly feel the pain he's inflicted upon countless other poor souls like me.
Just come in through California, in reality no ones stopping you but yourself, border agents will send you to a sanctuary city. When you get here you will realize the US is a giant scam
@@velocirapture89 Does it really matter when we have illegals from all over the world hopping our border and flowing into our cities like crazy to the point they are collapsing everything, because oh yeah, we are giving them our tax dollars as well? smh
I am from South Africa. My Grandmother moved to the US in March 2020, and was planning to come back to South Africa March 2022 to visit. She tried to get her papers approved in late 2020 already, but the US only in approved that she could leave in AUGUST 2023. Almost 3 years she waited. She then passed away in October and I never got to see her for 1 last time. We couldn't even fly over to attend her funeral because immigration control declined my ENTIRE FAMILY's (including all relatives) request to fly over for a few days to attend the funeral. She died alone
Imagine how difficult it can be to own a small business and dealing with not just local, county, and state agencies... then throw in the federal agencies that oversee your business... A friend of mine from New Zealand was deported because immigration didn't send him his green card renewal information in time. He had a business that employeed 9 AMERICANS with families. He was forced to close it down. Yes, he tried to have one of his managers run the auto shop until he could reapply to come back into this country... 2 years later!!! It was a nightmare. People who couldn't make it in the private sector and have no idea how to start a vehicle equipped with a standard transmission are telling you how to run your business... you life... WTF?
Unaccountable nameless, faceless bureaucrats shouldn’t be able to exert power like that. The process SHOULD allow you to appeal to other agents for review
@@charlieseendumb theory, the Australian government does this type of thing a lot with e sports and small sports teams, they'll send stuff to US Customs and Immigration and hold up the whole process. Australian citizens get fucked over by their government even when they aren't in Australia lmao

I have a US passport and still US citizen. Immigration searches, interogates and harasses me every single time i try and return home. They are hateful people lacking any empathy or soul. They are also on huge power trips. It makes me hate where I am from.
Dam Charlie that's a fucked up situation and people are straight up idiots sometimes with no good reason for it. I'm so deeply sorry for all the BS you're going through right now, I hate seeing my boy like this
The fact that there’s no peer review for cases like this is wild. If someone is having this much of an issue, they should send it to someone else to review the case. It’d help prevent power hungry people from getting the “power” they want. It’s really stupid the amount of “power” people like this have.
@@humidifier8914 yeah that's just every government /s not /s malicious incompetence really feels like the US' forte a lot of times. That, or just either or. One is CIA experiments against poverished neighborhoods, and the other are pipeline maps from three thousand years ago.
Why is this a unique case??? When Americans run into their own immigration system all of a sudden they’re outraged. This happens to legit people who have no reason to be denied every single day but Americans don’t believe that cause their system is perfect. I think we should commend the immigration officer for keeping America great and protecting you from the moist esport radicals
This has happened to veterans with a VA claim who are missing entire limbs. Sometimes your representative just woke up cranky and now your livelihood is ruined.

I sympathize with this too much. Myself and my partner have been trying to get her back into the US after she couldn’t leave during the covid times. We did everything right, filed all extensions, and played by the book EXACTLY how the USCIS officers would tell us on the phone. We found out a YEAR after she could leave and left (while extensions were processing) that they were denied due to a timely filing. I was literally told when to file the extensions by an officer and even had a tier 2 officer tell me (based on all the previous phone calls) that the first officer we spoke with gave us conflicting information and led us astray. It’s now been 2 years and ~$10,000 in and we are STILL waiting to hear responses. This is the most helpless I’ve ever felt in life and it hurts me everyday to think about how this can even happen. 😢
Wild how they leave you holding the bag when they straight up admit "OUR guy told you the wrong information". It's THEY'RE fault in that case for not having this guy do his job right. They should be the ones paying you 10k as compensation for the years of waiting
Do 3 things: 1. File a lawsuit against the agent and the department for financial damages due to their incompetence. Gather testimonials from other people in e-sports that have had issues specifically with this one agent and build your case. 2. Contact your elected representatives and fill them in on the situation. Contacting a senator or congressperson can actually make a decent impact. 3. Don't stop fighting. You might have had to drop the team, but continue the pressure. Who knows? You might actually get someone fired.
As a Syrian immigrant who translated legal documents for my parents as a kid and has been dealing with the US Immigration dept's bullshit for the past 10 years (still no response regarding our case by the way), I felt his anger in my soul
Interesting seeing this type of issue from the perspective of someone who -if not for a very specific business incident- would've otherwise remained ignorant to the issue. I've been waiting 12 years for my immigration process. Was brought here as a child, got married 5 years ago. I've been unable to see half of my family, been declined scholarships, jobs, loans and mortgages because of USCIS' blatant disregard, negligence and incompetence.
My parents, my brother, and I moved to the US when I was 4. We didn't get citizenship until I was 16. Yeah, US immigration moves slower than a glacier.
Thats not slow from US immigration unless you can get it right when You get there. In my country in europe you can get it after certain number of years you live there, if you live there since 3 years you can get it at 18
