TFA was identical to New Hope but atleast it set up a lot of interesting things for the sequel: The New Republic revengue, the nights of Ren, Snoke, Kylos training, Reys origin... then Johnson said "fuck it" he ruined all this things and the triology wad beyond salvation by Rise of Skywalker.

It's like the conspiracy around the film Treasure Planet. Watch the video "Treasure Planet - Disney's Biggest Mistake" (ironically, since they documentary came out, Star Wars is now their biggest mistake). It was the most expensive animated film to date (2002) and still in the top 10 most expensive animated films, adjusted for inflation. They had an animated series planned. Merch planned. Instead it got shit marketing and a terrible release slot, then they used its poor performance to end all traditional Disney animation permanently.

They bought Star Wars to intentionally destroy so Marvel would dominate the convention scenes. Even if they destroy the Marvel people still cosplay as the Marvel characters.

I love those books, Mara Jade is a more interesting character than anyone the Disney trilogy introduced.

The prequels suffer from having to detail Anakin's love life and how it was used against him to turn him evil. The trouble was Hayden Christiansen being useless at romance stuff. He captured Anakin's descent to evil quite well, but he couldn't carry the romance scenes.

If you forget Hayden Christiansons cringe dialog, the prequels do one thing very well. Show palpi Mcscrotumfaces long game to get in power and destroy the Jedi order. From senator to chancelor, to power abusing chancellor to emperor, at least they were consistent.

Snoke kind of died and the heroes aren't better than the villain in the plot.

If Palpatine is/was behind Snoke, if Rey is 'of' or 'a' Palpatine, if Palpatine's always known about Rey, then why didnt or how couldnt Snoke know who she was in TFA? 'Feel' she was the thing 'awakening'? Then in TLJ, Snoke commands Skylo Ren to kill her to 'complete' his training? They literally hold Empress Palpatine in their grasp, so why kill her & not convert her to the Dark Side? Snoke should've sent her to Exogal, not die & get cut in two because he toyed with her. Snoke & Palpy conspired to steal Ben Solo away from Luke / Jake, but did not conspire to retrieve his heir & convert her? Even Luke didnt see her for who she was, how's that even possible, lol? TFA & TLJ seem to make a lie out of saying Palpy was part of the plan all along, since Snoke's reaction to Rey never once suggests he knows her as the Dark Side Royalty she clearly is, nor does Luke or Master Yoda? Really? Snoke, Luke & Yoda didn't know a Force Dyad if it fell in their laps? Luke wouldn't train a Palpatine to go to the Light Side to battle his nephew that fell to the Dark? Ain't buyin it

@@skyloren8078 TFA is about finding Luke to make Rey a Jedi and TLJ erased the plot and then TROS erased the plot in TLJ. Kylo Ren was supposed to be the main villain after Snoke was defeated but he was given a softer character. At the start of the trilogy Kylo Ren kills his father and at TLJ he doesn't kill his mother, Rian Johnson went as far to make sure Kylo Ren did not kill his mother even if the plot was for him to do so.

If he was alive the whole time why go through the bother of building up something new over 20 years in secret? Why not just keep emperoring over the empire that was still there at that point?

@AnthonyRizzuti It disappeared, because when Rey healed the lightsaber wound she'd given him seconds earlier, she also healed every other injury lingering injury he had.

That is only because they tell you in your face what REALITY actually is. The rebels always lose because they don't know how to govern an Empire. So it begs the fundamental question, is the FORCE OF LIGHT is better than the FORCE of Dark? Or are they basically the same thing, fighting for control and spoil? The difference maybe is that the FORCE OF DARK, with its tight control, could actually manage to run the Empire for many people to live a reasonably life. And yet the FORCE OF LIGHT is just bunch of rioters who destroy for the sake of destroy and don't know a thing about government. And eventually the Sith Lords will have to come back to clean up the mess that the JEDI left behind. REALITY!

Those people care about money, they're not trying to destroy the world that makes them billions. What could possibly motivate them to do that? Especially since the hero theme was so present all the time you'd have to be wilfully blind to not see it. But I get you hated the movie. I'm with you. Just think you're reading waaaay too much into it. Probably because it's important to you, which I also get. It's important to me too.
