The Telfar Bag is the hottest thing in fashion right now, and the brand has quickly become a favorite among celebrities including Beyonce, Oprah, and Bobby Shmurda. I think it’s important to note that the bag security program and sudden explosion of success of the shopping bag in 2020 was in response to the increase in support of Black business owners during the 2020 Black Lives Matter movement. I had been hearing about Telfar for a few years now, and was able to purchase my first bag in the Fall 2019, and my second in early 2020. My next two bags I got after the movement, the orange one through the bag security program because I REALLY wanted that one and missed the SSENSE release of it. I’m glad to see Telfar himself and the brand’s success. When I get a little more coint, I will buy actual clothes because I think it’s important to also celebrate the other aspects of the Telfar brand.

people are really calling his brand basic & tacky because he makes the same tote bag in different colours yet will praise hermes for making the same ole Birkin that's literally $30,000+. it really shows the way people see literally anything black people do. you can never do anything simple as a black person. it needs to be the most Avant garde, over the top creation to get even a little bit of credit, praise, and recognition that these other mediocre, white owned brands get.

Your videos are extremely informative, and often includes crucial information that are not present in other videos of the same subject. Telfar is definitely getting more popular by the day, and it deserves the recognition. I have to admit, i have never heard of Telfar until very recently (around the beginning of 2021, maybe?) and this video has everything i needed to know about the brand. I was rewatching some old episodes of RHONY and he has an appearance in one of the older seasons ( i cant remember which one) but he is at a party with the ladies. I believe sonja is a good friend/client of his as Sonja sometimes sports a telfar bag in the more recent seasons and appears in some of the campaigns. I love seeing him appear in random places and I am dying for one of his bags. great video!!
