10:00 - I literally know no one who predicted Nova to lose to Kansas. Everyone on ESPN, Sports betting experts, all said Nova would win. As a matter of fact, the sports betters called Nova, "the REAL number 1 seed", indicating Kansas were a fraudulent number 1 seed.
Keep in mind that Jack Kraft had some top 5 in the country teams from the 1960's and his '71 team had 4 pros on it , with one being Howard Porter 1st team All American . And that team should have won the NCAA Title that year. Porter was also the MOP for the 1971 tournament . Only 1 of 3 players to win that award from the losing squad, Nova had a very good program before Jay got there, But Jay is a Hall of Fame Coach.
Villanova is the Philly school that Temple should have been, Dave Gavitt came to Temple first and asked if they wanted to join this new conference that he was putting together, they declined, and Dave then went to Rollie Massamino and asked the Wildcats if they were interested, they excepted, and the rest is history, 3 nation titles, I think 5 final fours, and countless huge games since, have made them a national power, Jay has a great situation on the Main line, and they should be great for years to come, as the basketball in the North East corridor that has great talent pools from, Baltimore, DC area, to Delaware, and Chester to Philly and all of PA, to New Jersey, and New York, up even to parts of the New England Boston area, there is nothing but great hoops, among the HS in those regions, probably the best in the nation ,and Villanova has a huge presents there.

I use to enjoy watching Villanova when their whole bench was not stacked with the top talent in the country. Now they are no different then a Duke or other traditional powerhouses. Chances are they will win 1 or 2 more championships and the next 5 years.
No they are not quite like Duke, Villanova has to actually recruit still, all Duke has to do is send out letters of invitation and choose who they dont want, Jay has to still actually recruit, and Jay doesnt take many one and dones either. He encourages guys to stay all 4 years, that is not the case at Duke.
No NBA talent...? Bro, Kerry Kittles and Tim Thomas played on the same Nova team in the 90's. Literally watched ten more seconds and feel the need to discredit my own post.
