Watching it from Kenya It is so sad to get such news of our fellow brethren who got drown I can observe that the were Pathfinders in Adventist Men Organization A word of condolences to The Adventists church who lost their members,To their beloved family as well not forgetting too The country of Zambia for losing such young people May God teach us to number our days just as David says so
This brought chills down my spine when I heard about this sad reality, weeks down the line and am still saddened by it and seeing how one of the boys mother was mourning her son really brought tears to my eyes, young lives cut short😢....as a Zambian I am glad you covered this story.
I NEVER get tired of watching or waiting for new posts. Thank you for accurate telling of news and stories. Bravo again from the 🇺🇸 to you in beloved 🇳🇬 !!
Am Zambian and I trust how you have narrated this because they have been too many stories circulating around Thank you ❤️ May their souls rest in perfect peace 😭
@ Shannel George - Speaking as a non christian though as a Zambian based in the UK, I can honestly say I don't wish you to be anyone's neighbour if your thoughts are based on same faith or family in order for you to "Love thy neighbour as you love yourself". The difference between us humans vs any other creatures in this world is the empathy, love and humanity and if one doesn't see it that way, then best to know your purpose here on earth and imagine the life after death.
Hi Daniel! Kindly indicate 'Actual footage' on the images truly relating to the story you're sharing, to avoid misconceptions sometimes. Thanks and keep up the good work!👍
Since day one I watch your video on Facebook then I decided to fellow you,my guy in fact you are great. I really like the way you tells the story you make it very understandable keep the good works
My brother first of all I will like to Appreciate you for your content. I love the way you create them. More Grace Beloved. May their souls rest in perfect peace 😭😭😭
This is very sad, it reminds me of a friend who drowned in lake kariba Zambia side in siyavhonga. We where on holiday in kariba zim side. I had the longest and saddest trip back to harare. May the friends and families of these boys find comfort. Rest in peace guys.
Those kids made those young adults made their own decision, they should have left it once it started to sail away. If they were kids yes he would be liable but they were adults
Actually the survivor did tell us what happened They were just trying to swim no one chased them , Otherwise I can say much I just can't cuz I miss my brother 😭😭
I know people always want something to blame as usual... but we need to also understand that there are consequences for whatever decision we take in life... May there souls rest in peace
In life when things go wrong because of our bad decisions we always look for someone to blame. It’s unfortunate that this happened but truth be told the sailor wouldn’t have known that they couldn’t swim, he didn’t even know them. May their souls Rest In Peace.
In Africa, there's a social contract regarding the young, the old and those incapacitated. I was raised to look out not just for myself, but those around me. Carelessness caused 6 youths to lose their lives. This was an avoidable tragedy. Just in case anyone is curious, I'm Kenyan.
@@mohammedaliyu1437 if had to work that day he should have never allowed them on to begin with or he should have taken them back prior to his time to head to work, period!
@@m3g0mia I get you but its their fault, they proved strong head. And to me he wouldn't know some of them can't swim coz whoever comes to such places definitely knows how to swim. He told them severally to get off & they didn't, so what do you expect him to do, wait there all day till they done? & miss his work because of them. Put yourself in his shoes its so irritating.
Logically the sailor is innocent, sentimentally everyone will say it's the sailors fault. But in my opinion the boys knew better than to swim back to shore. I would have waited till the sailor came back, if he likes he should go to America and come back.
RIP to the young stars but the sailor is not responsible for their death because he (sailor) might have an appointment or emergency to attend & if they refused that is their problem. I will do the same thing & move my boat ⛵ into the deep water. Immediately it started moving into the deep water they should have got off it or even pleased with him to drop them in the sea shore. Well may God grant their love once the heart & strength to bare their lost.
You don't know where the sailor was sailing to, how far and if he was even going to be back that day. The fear of that probably made them jump. As an obviously older man, he should have known better. How was it so difficult for him to just let them all out before leaving?
I'm Seventh day Adventist and we received the news it was really sad, thank you for covering the story I didn't know how it happened I thought it was a car accident.
If it can be proven that the sailor really did tell them to get off his raft and they refused but instead choose to swim to shore then how can he be held accountable?
It's obvious they refused to get off, cos once the shaft started sailing they were supposed to jump off, they were not tied to the shaft. I think whenever death starts calling someone it blinds the person, they were blinded with stubbornness and then came death
@@abrahamigunbor3456 I understand what you are trying to say. Are you say that you will do the same thing to those boys? He knew that environment better. Even if he is not held accountable for what happened, I don’t think he can live with this. He had the opportunity of saving those kids and refused.
Oh God, may their souls rest in peace. Amen. Well done Daniel, may your light continue to shine. I don't know how the parents of these youths are ever going to get over this, may our God be their consolation. Thank you Daniel
I was only used to watch the stories that only happened in Nigeria ,but now I can see that you are all over africa as a continent much respect for you brother ..
If they were told to get off and they refused and if he didn't force them to swim back then the sailor is not responsible. Maybe these young men thought that they could swim back and that blind confidence led to their death. RIP
This is so, so sad. Why do some humans act like they have no heart and soul in them? The sailor should be held responsible. No matter how stubborn the young men might have been, this is an issue of life that we're talking about. And let me ask; if that sailor had, had one of his relatives in that boat, would he have been so heartless to let him jump into the lake? I mean he is a sailor and should know better. I'm sure he knew how far he has moved from the shore. For me, I think there's more to this story. Because they were eight healthy young guys (full of life) and should have probably scared the sailor to take them back to the shore. .... So how was this sailor able to overpower these young guys that they were left with no option than to jump into the lake?🤷🤷
There should have just played around their limit and be cautions about their life and safety. Like me I am not good at swimming so any time I go to the river to swim my safety first . I don't Care what others are doing there
It's unfortunate they got drown in the sea. Sometimes, it's good to listen to someone when they say no to certain things, we're of the same age doesn't mean you can disregard/disrespect me...no! This could have been averted if only the listened to the owner of the...whatever u called that. But, see...it's too soon for any family to experience this tragedy, the year is just started. for me, there's no point holding the owner responsible, he didn't pushed them off, they did willingly. May their soul rest in peace.
If u are not a good swimmer, do not go near water!! A lesson I learnt the hard way’!!!! I don’t go near any body of water , no matter how enticing it looks!!! May their souls ripp!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing this story but to be honest I dont think the sailor should be held responsible for the death of these boys because he tried talking to them and they didnt listen, Everyone here is busy saying he should have taken them back but are you looking at the fact that the sailor tried speaking to them and they didnt listen what if he couldnt go back with them because his fuel was only enough for his journey??? What if he was on a job and his boss is strict? What if he couldnt afford to waste his time by going back with the boys when he knew that he could have caught 3 fish to feed his family??? What if he had a long day at work ad needed to go home to rest?? Its the same as; there is someone in your car and they are enjoying the music in your car and you tell them that you are now going because you have some business you want to handle and they just ignore you, as a human you will obviously say you will find your way back and then on their way back they get runned over by a car and die.... how is that your fault?? Did you know something bad was going to happen? also your car needs fuel it doesnt move by water, You should always look at both sides I feel sorry the boys lost their lives and May their lovely souls rest in peace
God help their families and may they rest in peace. In my eyes this is an unfortunate accident. I do not belive that he should be held responsible. We need to teach our children to respect what others say. 💔🙏
3 of my friends died in Lake Victoria when the boat caspized a week ago😭. So sad 😢 They were just getting prepared yo go back home after a two-week Adventist mission.
He needs to be held responsible. I believe in any situation that involves lives the priority should always be to preserve life. He made a reckless hasty decision without any regard for human life and that is why these boys are dead. He is responsible.
May Jehovah God give strength to the family special their mothers I can see and feel their pains as mother of young boys😭😭 and have hope of ressurection 🙏🙏
I think this is an unfortunate incidence caused by these boys decision to swim back to the shore Knowing fully well they aren't professional swimmers. May their soul rest in peace
It is also said that it was common for the young boys (locals) at the Kariba to have been on that boat and jump off as it gets to deeper waters. They knew the waters but these guys where strangers and might have jumped to far off from the shore.
