The Patriots 2023 QB room was… something. I hope Matt is doing well and rebounds, if he was given another shot I’ll believe there’s a good reason why, but he probably could have been the Patriots starter at some point last season if he stuck around

The same thing I kept thinking all season with the disaster that was the Patriots. I really hope this works out and he gets another chance. Saw him play a couple of times at Ole Miss and thought he was NFL ready.

I remember Corral at Ole Miss and as a Texas A&M Aggie, I hated playing this guy every year due to his versitile skill set. I was uninformed of the mental health struggles that he had faced throughout his caleigent carrer so thank you for the video. I think the Stallions have a great orgonization and though I am a San Antonio Brahmas and die hard Aggie fan, will be pulling for this guy in his football carrer for years to come.

Loved watching him the few times I saw him in college and thought this guy was an NFL player no doubt. I hope this road leads him to where he wants to go. Seems like he's in a great situation to get there. Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching!

I remember him in college. I thought he’d be a decent backup and able starter at some point in the NFL. Mental health conditions are real and can hinder personal and professional life. I’m glad the Stallions coach is respecting Corral as a person who is managing mental health. Coach is also giving grace-based accountability and professional mentorship. I hope the best for Corral and that he would thrive in such a supportive and competitive environment. Thanks for the video and life update!

You nailed it. There's a lot more to a player than just physical attributes. It's refreshing to see coaches and administrators recognize the importance of mental health. It seems as if Holtz is creating a healthy environment with Birmingham and hopefully, he could be one of the best things to happen to Corral personally and professionally. Ima Panthers fan and we never gave that guy a chance. Thats why im excited to see him play for the Stallions, cuz this will be the first time ive seen him play an actual game, since college.

@@johnlewissports oh for sure. I do wonder however if the Stallions would trade him to a good team in need of a QB (Like what happened with the Renegades last year) since they have 2?

@@ryandavis4448 good point. They have a loaded QB room. My guess is he will backup Jmar Smith but maybe see some playing time. Definitely could be a Luis Perez type situation where he gets sent to another team that needs a QB (like Michigan)

Agreed he was never given a chance at Carolina, he was fun to watch at ole miss and I think he will ball out in Birmingham

I get why people are excited about corral but he could just as easily be a guy whose talents never translate to the pro level. His draft class of QBs might legitimately be the worst of all time if not for Mr Irrelevant Brock Purdy. His third round draft status and age is really what excit s people the most, if we're being honest, but that means sooooo little when you look at his peers from that draft. All that said, he could be great, I'm just skeptical. Beyond that theres maturity issues. He disappeared from two NFL rosters with no explanation and was put on a weird inactive status with them. He was excused by ciaches both times but it does leave an odd feeling. People may say, well thats why he never suceeded cause he has issues, but if he were talented NFL teams wouldve found a way to get him on the field... Go Battlehawks

It's a small body of work, for sure. I'm not a talent evaluator, but seeing him a couple of times in college, he seemed like he could play on the next level. As Skip Holtz said in the video, he's looking to see if there are issues or how Corral handles the "bad days" I'm pulling for him. There's more to a player than just talent. Glad to see him get another chance
