The drive to Colorado from Utah is breathtaking. Winding roads through snow covered mountains, endless tunnels with an occasional train passing along the river. The entire countryside is reminiscent of the us of the Wild West and gold mining.
In this episode, we setup at Tiger Run Resort in Breckenridge, CO and work in our cozy trailer while snow falls for over 20 hours. Then we head into town to take our first glace at the International Snow Sculpting Contest before visiting Nordic Ski Center for a full day of snow shoeing.

I should have told you about the bald eagles who winter on the Colorado river !! Kicking myself! I once saw at least 6 flying and sitting on 1/2 frozen river. It was snowing. It was majestic😍.

Wow. After living in Colorado for 30 years, I moved to an island in Puget Sound, WA. It was so good to be brought 'home' again through your excellent film footage through which I was able to relive the experience of paths that were taken long ago. Thanks for your great site!

The last part of the vlog was for the most of you very exotic. I´m not that old (60), but the snow (from november to april), the analog life, make you own tracks in the forest, the ”paraffin lamp” -this is my childhood 👍🏻❤️

My grandparents lived just up the road on Tiger Run for 20 years, I spent my childhood snowmobiling and having a great time in Breckenridge. It has changed a lot but still beautiful. They lived right across the road from a meadow that is now a golf course. Great video, love watching your family.

I just started following you guys. In the past couple weeks I have binge watched all of your videos and have found them to be fantastic. You have given me so many ideas as to how to go about this RV living thing. I am in the process of putting a plan in place to make this a reality over the next few months. My wife and I can't go full-time right now, but we will be seeing more of this great country in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures.

A night drive in the snow is great even better if it's horse drawn wagon or sleigh. I spent my college years I. Colorado at the university of Colorado love it. The next time you in a snow area put a padded tarp over your truck, all you have to do is pull it off and no scraping windows or cleaning off the snow.

Hmm.... not sure why I didn't think of that tarp. I am looking for a bed cover. Maybe foldable. Waaay too much work getting the snow out.

Keep Your Daydream hey Marc. Yes I put a foldable bed cover on my 2017 f250. Works well even with the fifth wheel. Nice to be able to open and tow yet close once we unhitch.

We watch you guys religiously and enjoy your posts so much. This one made me laugh out loud. We are going full time in about 7 months but if I never see snow again it'll be too soon. I have been shovelling snow pretty much DAILY for the last 8 weeks with another 8 weeks to go (if we are lucky) we would not even think about doing what you have done in this video, that is what made me laugh. Colorado in the summer yes but if there is white stuff everywhere, no thanks. Happy travels to you all from J & J in snowy Canada.

I really had to shake my head on this one. You are so excited to be in an environment that we are excited to leave! Winter in western New York becomes more of a challenge every year and I'm hoping to get our motorhome out of winter storage and head south. 🌴🏊‍♀️🌴🏊‍♂️🌴🍹🍹🍹🍹

Yeah, if we're skiing, all is good. If I had to live or work in the snow.... I'd feel the same way. Now that's we're Denver I'm thinking, "okay, I'm good now. It can warm again!"

I used to fly Corporate jets and used to fly in and out of Eagle almost weekly. That whole area is amazing. The approach to eagle is down a valley and it’s breath taking

Oh WOW. Now, I've lived in Minnesota for my whole life, so I am NOT a huge fan of snow, but that last part of going on that plow machine and then going to the old cabin to listen to music by the fireplace?? Dreams!! So awesome!! I wish he would do that for all of the future KYD people who visit!! Also, Tori was very smart to stay off that ice. It's no fun falling into ice! 12 year old me learned that by falling knee deep in ice in a pond. I had to walk 2 miles back home, and it was miserable!!

That looks like the best place to be on earth really looks neat will have to go there before my time ends . You guys do a great job and find the best food places to eat. We have stayed at Navajo NM. Try to go in better weather. 9000 ft elevation with fantastic ruins and great hikes. You passed our fav. site.

Wow! I love Colorado, but I've always been there is the summer to visit with friends. That looks like a lot of fun. Wish I could talk the boys into it. Then again, this summer we're taking the train from Oakland to Denver, Sierras then the Rockies, and I can sightsee the entire time! I'm not complaining, since I'm usually the driver.

How did I miss this! ("FUH") is the best soup on cold days!!! Where i grew up in Winnipeg, Jimbo ice sculptures were a winter event. Sprayed with food coloring, lit from inside, some were the size of 2 stacked school buses!! ❤️❤️❤️

So I wanted to share some snow gear insight that I think both Marc & Tricia might find useful. The back of the hood on most parkas and outer shell jackets there is a velcro or pull string located about at the crown of the head. This is meant to adjust the hood so that it stays out of your eyes. I could tell you both we're adjusting your hoods back to see. This will be a more pronounced problem if your parkas were designed to accommodate helmets under the hood. Hope this tip helps. Brett.

We ran across your channel early into season one and we check every evening to see if there's another video to watch. My wife and I discovered the Navajo National Monument 3 years ago in late March. Our RV is only 27 feet...we fit nicely there. We were as you the only ones there. this place was so special it made it onto our "top ten" best campsites list. You guys do a great job with your channel, fact is you're one of the best. Great photography and interesting content. Great camera work. Keep it up.
