I met up with Casey 250 and Dirt Garage for an epic long weekend off-road adventure into unknown terrain for some adventure, camping and... margaritas? Behind the scenes: / thestorytillnow Merch: www.dirtyanddangerous.com
@@TheStoryTillNow sold out... I want one. I subscribed and I still check for a new 📹 😆. Glad your back in action 🎬 now let me watch this video discreetly at work 🤓🤫
I saw a stock looking 4Runner. Is there another way up to that area? My gladiator isnt as badass as yours and we take things a little tamer. Cheers from Whistler!
CJC absolutely. For scenic views. Bc. And that sliver of Alberta on the other side of the border. I’ve been all over Canada a few times. You can’t compare the land.
This is my favorite episode so far. Just amazing country, so beautiful. I live in New Zealand and I think we live in a beautiful country but BC is not only beautiful the scale of the wilderness and mountains are absolutely epic. You take amazing footage and your editing is outstanding. I always look forward to your next adventure. I love your Gladiator and setup.....the frozen margaritas on a glacier was next level.
As a IT network guy, I have a long-standing practice of not using any 1.0, or even 2.0 etc major release updates. These are usually not ready for prime time beta releases. I feel that the eco-diesel, with so much software control, is still a beta design and the new users are the beta test group. Another fantastic video, maybe one day Canada will let Americans come back and I will be able to trail ride out there. I've been to Banff years ago, and it was spectacular, but we stayed in town. Drinking tequila and flying a drone through the mountains sounds like a blast. You know, most ideas conceived in tequila always come out great. Also glad to see dirt garage along. It seems many channels are afraid of acknowledging others and here you are embracing them. Hopefully it helps out both of you guys.
this is your best to date Shaun, your camera equipment is definitely workhorse quality, it doesn't give you any trouble at all or almost none, all the drone footage is EPIC, the last flying through the split peaks was you flying into Moodor of The Story Till Now and returning shortly there after, your post work looks to be not much was needed for colour work so your eye while filming is great, the colours looked super natural, i know those plant colours from hiking in valleys, yours are bang on, great great stuff, your Gladiator is holding up well, all those marks, nicks, and dents are like the wrinkles on a human face , they are life experiences, so you can look at them and sassy i remember how and where that one came from 😎 and you are certainly testing you equipment in every possible way. your killing it 👍 are the t shirts available again yet I've been back twice to try and get one , just says sold out
The only thing I would say would improve things is when you are using a handheld (not sure what you use - is it a GoPro or a phone?) it needs some serious stabilisation. It’s very jittery and hard to watch. Otherwise love it.
Bob Church take a look around 6:50. That sort of camera shake is very hard to watch. There are a handful of other places too but for the most part it’s excellent. Just suggesting there’s a little room for improvement. Also around 24:30 - on a 65” TV in 4K it gives me a headache.
@@jerrymyahzcat 😆 🤣 maybe that's why you got 4k,i got 1080hd, Samsung 46",so you got present-day tech and I got the museum tech lmao, yah I just noticed it, good catch on your part, they make the best video of this kind
With that music at the beginning I was expecting you to wrestle a brown bear to the death or give a bald eagle mouth to mouth after saving it from a wild fire, haha. Great vid!!
Hey props to you for pushing that pretty ass jeep to its potential. 99% of the fancy modded out gladiators/rubicon’s you see on the road have never left pavement. But for some reason need wenches, massive off-road tires, lightbars, etc 🧐 Those dents will be memories of some of the best memories you’ll have in that bad boy! Also your editing, storytelling and camera work is like no other! Literally as good if not better than something you’d see on discovery channel. Keep pushing it man you’re gonna be huge one day!
Man just the way this whole video is put together absolutely blows my mind, the talent you have for this makes all of us so frickin jealous. It’s top notch bro and we love it!
NICE!!! You know you can tell the state of mind someone is in by the music they choose for their videos. You guys definitey see your saurroundings in the same light as I do. Glad to have found your channle. Thanks for the effort and allow me to come along, nice to enjoy with my coffee and taco first thing in the morning.
I watched & subscribed and CRIED! The scenery was so very beautiful I cried through most of the video..no kiddin'. I live in Colorado, SW part. I turn 60 Feb. 2021. I moved here from Louisiana at 20. Owned several CJ7 jeeps and love nothing more that 4-wheeling in the mountains. Am a geologist, anthropologist, teacher turned therapist. See Mesa Verde National Park out my window. Got sick 'bout 10 yrs. ago. Started to affect my walking/driving about 5 yrs. ago. Haven't been able to get into the mountains lately. Thank you so very much for letting me ride along on this journey! Love BC! You took me to some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen in such a long time! You filled up my heart!
There’s no way that you can dislike these videos. Keep up the great work. No lie, these are the only videos on RU-vid I don’t skip through. 😅 It’s relaxing to watch the amazing scenery.
Definitely gotta say its nice to see all you guys wheeling together and making vids together, it helps unit all of us and brings the wheeling youtubers all together. I definitely enjoy all of your vids Wheeled with one of ya before and talked to another All good folk They all deserve a sub and like on all their vids!
Love all the old Toyota’s. I am slightly biased being a 71 FJ40 owner but damn it makes me smiling seeing those Toyota’s keep up with those brand new Jeeps!
It would be super cool to get your elevation when you stop and camp or even when you stop and vlog. It would be a little more immersive. This is a great video.
I love seeing the 2 thousand dollar Tahoe hitting the trail with y’all. New expensive rigs are nice but not necessary to get out there if that’s not in your budget.
what the heck, jump in super cold lake with snow next to it and then drink some ice blended fruit frappuccino, that would not warm up my moment, lol, You must be from Canada
Hello This is Seoul, Korea Korea has been I'm finally selling the Gladiator Your video is really cool Korea has no big mountains, so most of them drive Jeep in style. I subscribed to your channel I'll be back next time
ive spoken to a few people and might do a dedicated episode on it if i can force it to happen again since we also talk a lot of tech on my channel. I don't like to talk about issues I don't fully understand yet.
Casey 250 that would be great. Hopefully there’s a simple fix. I’m strongly considering an EcoDiesel Gladiator when they come out next year to replace my Ram. Keep up the great content 👍🏼
The wife has a 3 liter diesel in a 2015 grand cherokee less than 100,000 miles the def system is costing a lot of money. I'm not fond of the def system myself, last year on my freightliner I had a repair bill of $1,900 then $900 and another one for $400 after all that had to replace the one box at $10,800. Ill never buy another diesel until the def system is gone.
@@snappertight Same experience. Our 2014 JGC Overland diesel with ORII was a wonderful vehicle - until it wasn't. At about 55,000 mi. the def system actually caught fire at some point. Was driving to the post office 2 miles away and it died. In the shop most of the summer, sold it as soon as we got it back. Warranty and insurance covered the repairs, but not the loss of use and depreciation. I also had a 2012 Rubicon that had to have the head replaced at under 5,000 mi. Will never buy Chrysler again. Now my wife has a Toyota and I have a ZR2 diesel. As soon as the warranty expires, looking at doing a delete. The ZR2 has been a great vehicle so far.
Use a blocker and buy merch instead. A view averages about .18 cent US...buy a shirt or sticker once in awhile. It's win for you and win for the content creator.
You guys are crazy wild ! "A crumbling bridge over a raging glacier melt river " and then drives over it. My favorite part was " Nothing like heading up a dangerous looking mountain pass with a road closed sign " . Goes up it anyway and then puts both parts on the video . You know what happens next month ? Yep, a locked gate at that trail head. Thanks for looking out for our safety. In a few ( 5-10 ) years they'll get around fixing that bridge and making that road safer for all of us. Or better yet, they just won't fix any of it and close the road for everyone . Damn good thing you pointed it out.
This episode really went beyond Epic from the mid point. I really have to give lots of praise to whoever it is behind the decision, details planning for the video and music. That glacier capture and the music used - that was hyper Amazing. I hope you guys never run out of epic spot. Best wishes. WOW !! 👍👍👍👍
Man again you delivered epic video man it’s amazing those mountains calmed me the F down and you guys rock ,, it’s felt like some part of epic move stay safe ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🙏🙏🙏🤞
This is by far my favourite channel on youtube. I cant believe these trails are in my province... spectacular views, rigs, filming. Please keep the videos coming!
Thanks for another great episode! The comeradarie between you guys, the great rigs you drive, the danger, the views, the music is all done so well... Seriously, I'd pay to see this at an I Max theater...Kudos gentlemen!! Blessings
Thanks for reminding us what a truly beautiful planet we’ve been gifted to live on. I live near the Carpathian Mountains in Eastern Europe, and we too are blessed with wonderful scenery. My modified old 1995 oil-burner Land Cruiser 80 gets a good outing from time to time. God bless you guys. ❤️🇷🇴🇬🇧👍🏻
Beautiful country! Fantastic video! If the day would ever come that I get to do this in my jeep, all will be right in the world! Thanks for sharing the adventures that some of us only dream of!
The amazing thing is the road, if you want to call it that, is even there to go that far. Just when I thought that was it, it went on farther. The drone video was spectacular, as usual you guys.
Wow, just wow.... I’ve been going through the all you’re old videos since I discovered your channel 3 weeks ago. This is probably the best overlanding video I have ever seen. Hands down beats all the big overlanding youtubers out there. Keep up the fantastic work and when I’m done restoring my BJ42 I will be coming to BC for a visit. 👏🤟👍
Beautiful cold paradise. Good fun jumping into the lake ! You guys have the right attitude. In Finland I used to jump in the icy lake spring time just to wake up and then quickly back into the cabin to warm up in front of the open fire place. I loved to watch your adventure.
I’ve watched about forty of your posts. Your camera work is phenomenal, especially the drone footage. Your commentary is helpful and appropriate. The places you go….wow! But I really want to praise the music! It matches the scenery perfectly! Keep up the fun and adventures.
