Nah, I think many of the people from the Attitude era wouldn't get over nowadays because the fanbase have very different type of taste from back then. Though yeah, Rock specificly would survive any era. Those mic skills are pretty much timeless.
😂😂😂 omg. I don't know if you're aware but the voice actor who did Dexter's dad from Dexter's laboratory is the same guy who did Johnny bravo. I think it's Jeff Bennett. It's Jeff something.. but that is hilarious lol
Reminds me of a heel Elvis too, with the sideburns. He even impersonated Elvis from time to time. “Well since Rock’s baby left him, he found a new place to dwell, well it’s down at the end of Jabroni Drive at Smackdown Hotel” (Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel). And Elvis I believe was the inspiration for the Johnny Bravo character on Cartoon Network back in the day. Elvis was also the clear inspiration for the Honky Tonk Man basically being a Vegas Elvis impersonator.
The Rock didn't seriously mean what he was saying but she probably had a low opinion of herself, she was apparently very unhappy and had a sad way out so 🤷 to her it probably felt real
@horizontoday7874 the problem is today's society is soft weak and fragile. Bunch of snowflakes. Wrestlers Agree and Wrestlers sign off to go on with segment, storyline, etc. Again it's called great selling. Something today's era won't know about
Rock segments during attitude era are pure entertainment, feels like watching a movie, you can rewatch them without getting bored, wrestling back then felt so fun and i used to feel that the wrestlers are playing there real life character on TV
Not even close. Most of the female wrestlers today are leagues above in every aspect of pro-wrestling than likes of Chyna. Chyna only had the looks, nothing else, compared that to someone oike Rhea Ripley who got it all, looks, Gimmick, character work, fantastic in ring, on the mic, selling, storytelling, literally everything.
I always felt bad for Chyna when they'd have her do stuff like this. Even though it's a work, she had confidence issues about her looks & doing roles like this couldn't have helped. After all the sick crap(literally) that's come out about Vince, I'm not surprised he had her doing things that were mentally degrading for her
I remember seeing some interview from the rock. He said that himself & HBK didn't get on too well, especially after HBK delivered a superkick to stiff & the rock didn't take kindly to it. They had words backstage but couldn't go against HBK in those days. HBK of the 90's didn't make many friends by all accounts.
I always said she would have made a great wonder woman, especially after seeing her in that episode of who's line is it anyway. She hulk as well and not the dirty movie kind. Kindnof sucks that she never got her show. Wwf/e really screwed her over.
bobbygound5518 if u seriously enjoy this then u should call your friends and try the same with your mom 😂😂😂 and im ready to take the role of mark henry 😂
Just one of many reasons The Rock wouldn’t be able to run for President these days. (Even though he was playing a character, wokesters would still shriek and try to cancel him for what he said and did during the Attitude Era and during his feud with Cena).
The problem is JFK did much worse, and others. But the era they did it in the main news channels didn't run with it. LBJ I think made 4 secretaries pregnant. JFK was directing a porno giving instructions, among other things. Both revered Dem presidents.
