Haha those alternate head sculpts make animating these a lot more fun. I had the idea for the VHS presentation a while back and held onto it for the right video, I wanted this to feel like you were watching an old Coliseum Home Video and fast forwarding to all the best parts haha. And I gotta thank you again for the Ultimate Hogan figure you sent me all that time ago. He was a great figure to use in these promos, I’m totally spoiled by alternate heads/hands now. They give so much extra personality to videos like these.

@@CaptainMcKayRandom always a pleasure captain, I just finished watching your Shawn Michaels vs The Rock ladder match from I think about 10 years ago. I've been thinking about doing my own wrestling skits every now and then. Funny enough I actually match to come by and old raw ring, the floor is spring-loaded. Even came by a mostly put together a ring entrance and steel cage. But the steel cage isn't designed for this ring and missing all the clamps to hold it together. But I might even go ahead and build my own unique ring especially for my monster characters.

I use a twist tie that's wrapped around the figure, then I use a movable arm with a small clamp to hold them in place. If you watch the end credits here, you'll see the unedited animation and you can see the apparatus I used.

The original PlayStation one? I have, only a few times. I used to own Smackdown 4 and 5 though, I really liked those.

Thank you! It depends honestly, because I export my animation and then edit the speed as a whole video and not as individual frames. It ends up being roughly 20-24 FPS, if I had to guess.

I use Premiere. I export the animation, then I edit the video itself where I can adjust the speed and positioning. There’s an export setting called Optical Flow that makes the animation rate look a little smoother, but there is no AI used here.

So this is a Japanese event strictly because I showed a while back that Hogan and the nWo were in Japan, I never meant to make anyone think too hard about it. That said, fair critique, I'm sure some people would have loved the nod to Hulk's overseas wrestling style.

You established Super Tiger Pro Wrestling as a Japanese promotion so it would stand to reason that anything taking place in an STPW ring would be in Japan. The majority of the feuds and matches you have animated over the years have been original, taking place between talent that have never faced one another in real life. We had Rock vs Hogan twice, once when Hogan was nWo and the second time when he was red and yellow. A Rock vs Hogan who wrestled in his Japanese style would have been something different than what we already got in real life. With that said, you didn't promote it as such so I am not blaming you for something that I hyped up in my head. Just saying it was a missed opportunity.

@@aximusprime you’re probably right, thinking about it now maybe I should have thrown in a few different moves to showcase Hogan’s differing styles between territories. My point earlier about Hogan and the nWo being in Japan is basically just to showcase that there are other wrestling promotions in this universe I’ve been animating for a while, mostly as a way to explain why certain wrestlers haven’t appeared on JWF (with the in-canon logic being these guys just work somewhere else). While Super Tiger IS set in Japan, I didn’t mean to imply that it would exclusively feature Japanese style wrestling. That’s all I meant when I said I didn’t mean for people to think too hard about it - it’s not meant to be strictly a New Japan stand-in, it’s just a different company. With that said, there are similarities (press conferences, etc) in presentation for sure, along with glimpses of talent that was/is well known in Japan. But I’m also pulling ideas from all over the place - if you remember, a long time ago in an early Super Tiger video I explained Diesel and Razor left JWF to go to Super Tiger where they became Nash and Hall of the nWo, mirroring their real-life departure to WCW. Basically, Super Tiger exists just because I wanted a different federation to exist on my channel that felt different from JWF. That’s all I meant when I said I didn’t want anyone to think too hard. But I’ll definitely take your points and next time I do something with Super Tiger, I’ll try and include regional differences if I’m using someone whose style changes depending on their location. 🍻

Was it inconsistent? This has been worked on for over a year little by little so some parts probably look better than others I guess, but I don't notice anything jarring.
