I like Donovan Clingan, especially how he said he'd be able to play alongside Sengun, the idea of having 2 bigs on the floor at the same time is very intriguing and besides were going too need another big especially after Adams is gone. Dont get me wrong I like Sheppard and Risacher but its hard decision to make.
based on what Udoka has said he is looking for in someone, it sounds like Reed Sheppard could be their guy. Instant 3 ball shooting and plays good defense.
I think looking at how Rafael Stone has built the current Rockets contracts out...really makes me respect how the Houston front office was able to flip this around in 3 years
I'm a bulls fan but after they drafted duncan I've for some reason had a fascination with the spurs so your spurs rebuild is something I'm looking forward to
I know you get this question a lot but could you do a quick video on how you set this up with the accurate draft picks I know a lot of people want to know
Yeah for the Spurs i think the most realistic thing is to take Rob or Topic and get Williams or Knecht or Sheppard at 8. They might be able to get Kelly Oubre Jr come FA as well. Would love for it to be very realistic.
4th Pick Rob ofc but with the 8th pick I’ll like to see either Dalton Knecht or Cody Williams.. that’s at least what the mocks saying and I’m not opposed
I did a thunder rebuild. I put Westbrook, harden and kd back on the team and then the youngest comps to back them up firsr year then take the reigns. Scoot Henderson- Westbrook Jalen green- harden Jabari smith - kd
I think crush used to do his thumbnails at one point maybe? Don’t think he does anymore but idk, I know he did some for a couple other 2K YT’ers. Maybe Massa? I don’t watch many ppl who even touch 2K anymore (don’t watch crushables and haven’t for a while) so I can’t say, but it’s a small community and there’s only so many ideas. Everyone does playoff elimination rebuilds, trade deadline videos, draft videos, etc. So I’d say pretty much 0% chance he copies him, but they all have taken inspiration from similar people in the community over the years so I’m sure some stuff can look very similar. 2K has also remained pretty stagnant so that doesn’t help either. This is my second year not even buying the game lol
I think they should ‘tank’ next year. They should trade Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks to get some more assets. Draft Risacher with the number 3 pick. They need a clear number one option to build around, Jalen Green showed glimpses and Sengun was injured this year. Running a lineup of Amen, Green, Risacher, Jabari, Sengun with Whitmore and Eason coming off the bench plus whatever they get back from the VanVleet and Brooks trade. This would allow them to just develop their guys and who knows, they may surprise everyone like the Magic (unlikely because of how deep the west is). With a lottery pick next year plus cap space and an extra year under these guys’ belt, would allow them to have a clearer picture in what direction they would be going.
That’s a 2k idea of rebuilding which does not work in real life. From a rockets fan. The effect of vets on a team is just unbelievable, how do you think the rockets jumped 20 wins season on season? Fvv brooks and jeff green were a huge part of that.
@@johnd7266 yes but what have they achieved? They are still mediocre at best and their young guys didn’t get a chance to fully develop. I do agree that veteran presence is important in a team, but you can get that with backups, instead of having Fred and Dillon eating up minutes from Amen and Cam. The worst place to be in the NBA is the middle of the table, and that’s where they will be unless they trade for a couple stars (unlikely) or allow their guys to develop. I’m not saying be directionless like the Pistons, but the Rockets have a much more well rounded team than the Pistons, all they need to do is believe in the young guys and hope that a couple of them rise to stardom
@@rafiu7660 it’s a rebuild, jumping from 22 to 41 wins is a massive step in the right direction. And i do see where you’re coming from, but fvv (facilitating pg) and brooks (low usage 3 and D) are the perfect players to enable the growth of young stars, as we saw with sengun last season (and Jalen green for the final month). Amen and cam earned their way into the rotation, which they will continue to do as they get better and more familiar with the nba game
@@johnd7266 what’s the next step for the rockets? Do you think as presently constructed they can challenge for a top 8 seed in the west? I’m not saying FVV and Brooks are not good players, in the contrary I think they would probably be some of the better complimentary pieces in the league if the Rockets had stars. If instead of Green and Sengun they had Lavine and Sabonis, we would be talking about the Rockets being a top 3 seed in the West. With the potential Green and Sengun have showed, they can easily pass Lavine and Sabonis, but they need to be given time. So instead of losing FVV in free agency next season for nothing, they could trade him and Brooks to actual contenders who are ready to compete, and focus on the long term plan
