If Kuma was a tyrant, I don’t think it’s a stretch to think Xebec’s name has been slandered. I also don’t remember Garp saying explicitly that he was a menace either, but I could be misremembering.
But Rocks being connected to Blackbeard and no one seemingly liking him seems very different from Kuma. I think if anything he was simply the old version of Blackbeard
@@johansno5019 Then again we don't fully know everything about Blackbeard. He may seem evil because (1) he gave Shanks his scars and Shanks is a good pirate and (2) the narrative paints him as a despicable person, but if I'm being honest Blackbeard is the most pirate pirate in the story. He clever, opportunistic, ambitious, and will sucker punch anyone for an advantage. He seems more like an anti-Luffy and Xebec seemed like an anti-Roger. They probably share the same dream but pursue it differently.

What if Gloriosa fell in love with a Celestial Dragon (maybe Garling Figarland?). That would explain why she was near Mary Geoise when Boa and her sisters escaped. That would also explain why she was considered a traitor. Her falling in love could have been a catalyst for amazonians getting kidnapped to slavery. And the reason she joined Rocks is to get some of her people back. This also explains why the empress' "love sickness" became so taboo that the two empresses that followed Gloriosa died of it. Her "love sickness" disappeared because of what Boa, her sisters and other amazonians experienced.

Every once in a while, I feel the absolute need to give your artists recognition over any of the content of the video itself, and this is one of those times. As a fellow artist myself, it is very fun to check out all the subtle details, the stylized lines, and the painting style in Tenguki's work. It's very manga-esc and extremely pleasant to stare at.

Oda stated that people who achieved their dreams age well while those who didn't became shadows of their former selves.
Hmm you know if we take into account how Straw Hat timeline works. In timeline where they achieve their dreams, they look incredible. If not, then awful. If she didn't find love... then that means her dream was unachieved and so she is like that

Wouldn’t be surprised if Xebec was Dragon before Dragon. Something something inherited will. Given that Roger and his crew reached all the poneglyphs and know the true history and what happened during the void century but couldn’t do anything about it. Wouldn’t be preposterous if Xebec had similar knowledge and was actively trying to change the world.
Imagine how great a Rocks movie would do if it has garp, roger, wb, big mom, kaido, shiki and the man, the MYTH, the legend ROCKS D. XEBEC in addition to it being a canon movie. Just with the name of shanks OP Red did wonders, imagine what this can do.

i mean the only thing we know about john is that he likes to drink and has a treasure somewhere. ....which come to think of is more than we know about rocks, since at least we seen john to get those characteristics, whereas everything about rocks is second hand information that could be slander.

Because I'm curious if Captain John might have been the previous owner of his devil fruit so I wonder how their periods of activity lined up
I hope we get to see Rocks D. Xebec fully debuting and knowing Oda, he will surprise us by portraying Xebec to be different from the stories and rumors about him. Aside his dream to be King of the World and overthrow the World Government.
what about his crew killing each other, could just be a rumor, but Whitebeard had the rule about no killing crew mates no matter what. Possibly inherited from his time with Rocks and seeing what a lawless crew would be like?
@@kevintjahaja1008 that's definitely a fake translation or edited. Sengoku said he was a pirate and in another panel he called him an ambitious person. The term 海賊 (kaizoku) in Japanese can mean a pirate, buccaneer, sea robber, freebooter. But he definitely wasn't called a Buccaneer as in the race.
I feel like Xebek being Gloriosa's love interest is plausible since we didn't get a name yet, and that would even help explain why. It's also crazy to think that Hancock may already be aware of who Xebek is and may even have info on him that we don't.

Kaido and yamato kinda makes sense in a way, it would also explain why she is a traitor and not anyone else, after giving birth she did not take the child to amazon lily and instead left it with the father, thats probably the treason not the love part
I was thinking the same thing the only addition I would add is this also might be tied to gender as well. If Amazon Lily is only comprised of women maybe if a baby is born to someone from Amazon Lily and it's male it goes with the father and if it's female it goes to the island. Yamato is nonbinary at the least, and a lot of that has to do with her experiences as a child. We also know that Boa suffered and it's implied SA at the hands of men. She also became a warlord so she would have at least a small understanding of who Kaido is especially if she was getting information from Gloriosa
@@Spearhead401 I'm not arguing gender studies with you. What you said is true but what is also true is how the characters view themselves. They view themselves as a man (specifically Oden), Kaido though mockingly (IMO) still referred to them as his son. And At the end of wano they washed up in the men's bath house. I'm not arguing whether or not Yamato is a boy or a girl, but it's obvious the character does not subscribe traditional understandings of gender nor to what the Viver card says.
I wonder if the prior user of Doc Q's Devil Fruit is who created the Love Sick disease on Amazony Lily. I feel like there's a theory in there somewhere, given the connection that Blackbeard seems to have with Rocks as well.
I think Xebec is the only one who would make sense to be such a betrayal to the Kuja, a man struck down by a marine and pirate working together is almost unheard of
I believe it's Xebec, but let's say is Kaido and she is the mother of Yamato... the reason she can be considered a traitor could be because she let the Man she fell in love keep her child, instead of raising her in Amazon Lilly

The way people age in one piece is HEAVILY related to the life you choose to live. The better your life, the better you look. Could have something to do with your personal dream, but that's harder to quantify.
Okay I gotta say this In regards to people not connecting luffy and Garp, I don’t think that they release the full names of the military officers to the public. We don’t know any of the admirals’ or sengoku’s full name. It would highly endanger their families. It just makes sense to me that they only know him as “Garp the Hero”

I agree that Gloriosa most likely fell in love with Rocks D. Xebec and had a kid with him however, I don't that kid was Blackbeard. I think the child Gloriosa had with Xebec was none other than the Genius Jester Buggy the Star Clown.
Another reason for her being called a traitor is that she just left Amazon lily without the reason being love. like we know you arent a traitor if you leave because of love, cause shaky and Boa both wanted or left because of love, and people doesnt really care at amazon lily, they just say "ohhh leaving for love, ok". But if she left because of rocks and then Rocks just disappears from history, that would look like she just left, then came back.
I always thought that Gloriosa had a thing for Captain John of the Rocks pirates. He could have been just as charming as Rayleigh who captured Shakeys heart. Just throwing it out there
I think if anyone would have stolen Gloriosa's heart it would be Rocks due to the parallel to luffy and boa. Just the others to me sound like either fan fiction or a stretch at the most. Also maybe Gloriosa might have seen her in Boa when Luffy pulled up and saw history cone around for round 2. Also it would make sense for it to be Rocks because it would make sense for her to be labeled a traitor for following the devil himself
We need to remember that our first exposure to Rocks is through Sengoku, a marine and someone who knows the 'truth'(or something comparable). We don't have any 3rd person view of Rocks just through the perspective of a Marine. So we have no idea on how Rocks operates. Personally I do think the one Glorioso fell for is Rocks, if he's similar to Luffy then it any surprising?
Anyone wanna believe that Gloriosa is the biological mother of Yamato but Kaido is the one who got custody of Yamato to raise the child and be his heir and new Shogun of Wano in his scheme?
On the Kaido participation, remember that when he was young, he was alway showned with a big grin and a dream (as Linlin when she met him), maybe Gloriosa fell for that. But after that, he loose his dream, and vow that only strength can change the world and began to do horribles things, thus maybe loss the love of Gloriosa who fled him (and left her child ?). I can see that happening. I think that, if kaido try to kill himself all the time and fail, it's because he know that, in order to become the great world changer, you have to die first (which Luffy did, against him), and being unable to die, he loosed all hope of being that world changer.
I think, most people aren't aware of Garp's full name, most people associate him with his nickname of "Garp the Hero" rather than his official title Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp

I want to throw this out there that Yamato's big move combo alongside G4 luffy, was something along the lines of "white seprent". This is very sudden, and doesn't seem to have much relation to wano or kaido, but is related to the Kuja pirates. Might be some hinting from Oda. She's also got white hair, similar to glorisa. I wouldn't be surprised if Yamato's mother was glorisa.

Even so, she still would've been effected by the news of Whitebeard dying at Marineford, yet we don't see a single panel of her crying or being sad about it. Plus when Gloriosa was reminiscing of the days when she was in love like Boa is currently she had a blushed expression on her face, implying that Gloriosa still thinks very fondly of her former crush/potential ex-lover. So all this points to me that the person Gloriosa fell in love with wasn't Whitebeard but instead the infamous yet mysterious Rocks D. Xebec.
This makes a lot of sense and would explain why Kuma sent Luffy to Amazon Lily. There's a good chance that, during the God Valley incident, Kuma could very well have met Rocks and learned a little about him and his wifey, Gloriosa, even going so far as to learning that Amazon Lily is a sanctuary that's out of reach of the World Government. So, where do you send Kid Nika, the most at-risk upstart pirate? Somewhere the World Government can't touch him.
It was so close to being Roger, had it not been for Gloriosa not caring about Luffy's strawhat, which, if you remember, was worn by Roger for much of his life
I don't think Gloriosa Fell inlove with Whitbeard since she said her Sickness disappeared after the Guy "died" and whitebeard is still alive that time so the person that Highest chance that She Fell inlove is Rocks or someone from his Crew, and if it's Rocks, it's funny How Rocks is Like more of being Luffy Like actually based on how Whitebeard Treats Rocks in the Flashback

There are 2 things i am confused about: 1: Garling is known as the king of god valley but his not, he killed the king of god valley. 2: Shanks said that the sake he gave to whitebeard was from his home town. But if Shanks was from god valley, where did he get the sake from?
The Garling thing is a mistranslation. He is the champion of God Valley, so we know he actually won the event. As for Shanks, he said the sake came from the West Blue but that's all we know. Maybe God Valley's sake was imported from another island in the West Blue.

Something I’ve been thinking about is Ivankov checking luffys pulse in impel down. They seem shocked when they checked it yet says he’s fine shortly after. Now we know the extent of their relationship with Kuma and that Kuma knew the rhythm of the drums of liberation. So maybe she realised that luffy was or was related to Nika. It could have influenced their decision to help luffy or at least was something ivankov noted
