why rode ntg5 to xvive p1 phantom power to xlr to 3.5mm plug in camera (sony a7iii) has electric current voice, i can't solve it , do you have any good idea ? thank you !
I have it. It is 66mV/Pa ... very sensitive. I want to get another one to record nature sounds in stereo.... is this a dumb move with a shotgun mic ? because I never heard of shotguns rigged for stereo - by the way thanks for the video
not sure what you ended up doing, but I generally would not suggest shotguns for stereo, especially in nature... the directionality kind of defeats the point of a stereo recording.
Solid break down. Appreciated your thoughts on it. I’ve often debated getting the Rode VideoMic NTG On-Camera Shotgun Microphone. A little more in my price range. Using the video micro now from Rode.
@@OliverJHughes that’s awesome. I feel like my audio could always be better but it’s not bad. If anything I think I should invest in lighting. I’d like to do more videos in my office and the lighting is crap. 🤣
