These damn RU-vidrs! This is precisely why I am getting the ROG phone 6. The packaging is NOT too much. At the price, you are supposed to get a good protective case, a charger (yes, a charger), as well as a good unboxing experience. Those filthy scroats at Samsung and crApple have forgotten what these means, whilst simultaneously charging increases year-on-year, as they remove the things that people like me care about. All this is their decision of course, I acknowledge that their products are not made for me. I get that. But I will not accept you lazy RU-vidrs constantly pushing for us to get less with every damn review you do.

You asked for the games that need the power: Mihoyos flagship Games; Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact and Apex Legends if you want to play competetively. Currently using a 7t pro (855 Plus Snapdragon) and its lagging and overheating a lot for me.
If you're a competitive mobile gamer who plays esports games on it, then yes. You'll need every edge you need to close the gap or even go on top of your opponents. The other reason why i'd like to have a phone like this is because, it'll get old longer than phones on the lower range rather than buying new flagships every year. So, yeah... It'll still be cool even after two years.

As you can see, i didnt need to buy a new phone for the last two years because this phone is enough for the games that were released since. But games like wild rift, genshin impact and other games that require performance which i could play on max settings before are now only set at mid level because of the updates they handed down for the last two years.
I would buy this phone not to game, I'm not a mobile gamer, but for the insane specs and battery life. Using it just as a phone, it's easily the best Android experience. And I don't take pics because I'm ugly lol
I play a game that is optimized for pc gaming. They released a android version of it which let you continue your progress on both pc and android like a cross save. The ultrasonic bumbers are a game changer for this.
I bought this phone for what Samsung does not have or care to improve , naming good BATTERY QUALITY , all Samsung have battery issue of all sorts , my note 10+ got bloated and i had to discarded it for safety reasons , CLEAN SOFTWARE , (no double apps ) like Google and Samsung variant , than if u switch phone u lose stuff because u're locked in Samsung eco . So I've had the ROG phone 5 since it came out and am switching to the 6D ultimate next month, I used to switch phones every year cause the phones would wear out on me. The only reason im switching to the 6D now is because my 5 got caught in between a hinge and has a hole in the screen thats almost all the way trhough the phone. Otherwise I wouldve gotten at least a year longer with the 5. These phones are do powerful that even the older generations still stand in line with the current flagship phones on the market performance wise. You do get some drawbacks with the camera and water resistance, but as far as performance and longevity of that perfomance goes there is no better option than the ROG phones.
@@unknownidentity3865 so they are indeed basically the same phone, even the internal layout is the same but the 6D has better Ram than the 6, I personally like the color better, and the chip of the 6D is better as far as battery life goes. Also the 6D comes with the aircooler in the box which is a big plus for me. But I would say go with the one that's readily available where you live. Not all of the versions will hit every market, for example I had to search out a specific vendor for the 6D which is the only one that offers it over here other than asus themselves. But do keep in mind that the 6D is less water resistant than the 6.
I wanted to buy Black Shark 5 Pro but yk like joy ui has bloatware and ads so I'm not sure to buy it for an expensive price. I think I should go for Rog phone 6 cause it has a cleaner UI and I would be happy using it and it's also a bit cheaper than the Black Shark 5 pro 12 GB 256GB.
Very good question. What's this phone for? Who is it for? Nowadays there are more and more PC games ported over to the mobile platform. I m not talking about those Watertown version, I m talking about steam games. That could destroy even this phone on highest setting. Like Battle Chaser, Pascal Wager etc. I seriously doubt this phone could run those game at the highest setting. Next we will move to mobile emulation for old SNES Game, Game Cube all the Way to PS2. Yes any android can emulate this system. But how many upscale can it do? How many can maintain 60fps etc? The fan is literally made for those gamer that will push this phone to its limit.
It depends on how gamer you were born. Console, PC, Paper plane lol and of course mobile. I'm in the period of Family computer, Gameboy, Sega, Playstation, PC then xbox then mobile. Personally it will end on what game you are on. I'm in the middle of MLBB, PUBG, NBA 2K and Farcry. I'm not an Esport I just love to play. So now, what platform should I go to? Is ROG 6 pro worth it? I may disappoint you with my answer. But my answer is Yes, I mean of course Yes. It is worth it. It's for gamers not for everyone.
i have rog 3 i charge it every 3 days the way it charges is unbelievable starts slowly from 50% to 85% goes hyper and after 90% very slowly so not to destroy battery. I had samsung all the years before. Asus fucked Samsung Apple etc......sorry but i play do things all the time and charge it after 2-3 days.........
Neverwinter nights on mobile. That 18gigs sounds like just the thing that will give me a chance against a map full of lich and vampires. Hell, maybe even just the chance to chug a heal potion before being sent to the fugue plane.
Buying this phone once it releases in 4 weeks in my country. But im curious with the snap on controllers. Is it possible to just use the left side controller? Reason i ask is because i use the Flydigi Wasp 2 when i play moba games and while i can use that again with my 6 pro, im leaning more to the full Asus setup when i play which would be better to prevent any compatibility issues (if any)
I'm not a gamer but one of my friends has a rog phone bought same time as my note 10 plus he still enjoys his phone every day while my phone ... Exynos variant of course has battery issue , apps issue because none one makes app for exynos cpu , all aps are made for A chips from apple or snapdragon .
In this year's release the white version become so beauty that ASUS made it the default advertising version, but all other year's versions the black one was the default, than some accessories never got a white variant.
I have being buying those phones for a few years now and i couldn't give a damn about the camera's they never get used they should basically remove them completely
Ordered a non-pro ROG 6 16gb/512 for four reasons. Battery time (also for everyday use), headphone jack, low latency for rhytm games etc. and it's not Chinese. Got nothing against China per se, in fact I love many things about China, but I honestly believe once the shit hits the fan, companies won't be able to resist the government, in terms of censoring, spyware etc. This excludes a lot of brands. Also believe more and more games will be ported to android with time, and I'd like to be able to play these games in the best way possible on a mobile. It has to be mentioned that I own a pretty hardcore gaming PC, so yes; perhaps I'm one of those guys who love tech, specs etc. I figure if I want to take really good pics, there are compact alternatives that has much better optics and tele-functions than any existing mobile.

switch has way less power and is not so portable... I do like the Switch... But i would never casually have it with me... And you cant play genshin impact (switch has 0 performance for that) or diablo.... Fortnite looks and plays better on this phone then on a switch :D
bro was complaining bout ROG logo on a ROG made phone, but didn't said a word about how amoled screen is making your eyes red and giving you a headache due to PWM flickering so much for a top gaming experience

The case that comes with the phone is a plastic piece of garbage and should be snapped in half for being so useless. 1 drop and the phone breaks, you have to buy a good quality case because Asus cant include an actual good case even tho you pay threw your ass for it also you lied about the battery life. In reality the battery life is garbage and needs charging constantly through the day and it doesn't even make sense. You will only get 4 hours maybe out of the battery life just watching facebook videos or youtube but I do run my phone in 144hz so if changing the refresh rate makes a night and day difference then not being around a power supply would be worth it to go to 60hz. This guys video summed up in a nutshell- he hypes the phone up and what he says isn't entirely true and in reality the phone really isn't as good as everyone on youtube says it is. I had have my rog phone 5 since release and it has big flaws in software and durability and build quality and other issues regarding the amount of heat the phone generates doing nothing, it gets so hot it's uncomfortable to hold it and could easily melt chocolate if you wanted to. I hope the ROG phone 6 is better and all these attachments are stupid as no one can use them for a long period of time if the phone isn't plugged into a power source 24/7. I love that you can turn the phone into a PlayStation Portable and is a reason why I brought one. The specs in the phone are the best on the market and that's awesome however Asus could make the phone resolution higher but to achieve 144hz to 165hz they cant go too high of resolution. I'd love to see the rog phone 7 having 3k or 4k resolution 144hz 1ms specs. Over all it's the best phone there is however Apple iphone are built stronger, better battery life, better camera, software doesn't glitch for no reason (kinda makes you think if Asus even tested their software because it's that bad)
