Casey is interesting because he was an underdog.. he was far behind theo & lily but he grew & learn on the way even believing in jerrod when everyone else assumed he is a lost cause, he parallels dai shi because, dai shi is an underdog himself his three masters don't respect him even blaming him for their defeat in the war. Both casey & jerrod/dai shi exist in a duality, both of their arcs are carrying the entire show

in reality, I never intended to do a solo video on every Ranger, just general plot beats and and topics I found interesting while watching the series essentially blind It wasn’t until Rhino Ranger that I realized I made a video on every single Ranger EXCEPT Casey. My OCD kicked in LOL

Not to mention, Jason Smith, the actor who played Casey, is pretty handsome and he got into the character of Casey very well, also a good screen/script writer as well

@@matthewschurbert2244 yeah in sentai version gekiranger the final battle was actually in a place I think the place where rio (Jerrod in the sentai version spoiler there he wasn't possessed by a spirit) showed his genjyuken form (phantom beast king) so yeah the temple fight scene was all original footage

"Can't have it both ways, you're either a good guy or a bad guy" Not sure if this is a problem with the writing or an intentional contradiction to show that Casey doesn't know everything, but Jared is both.

It never ceases to amaze me that they were able to neuter a lot of Jan's hyper activeness from Gekiranger to the point where they just feel like two completely different characters

There are 2 moments I always think of when I think of Casey: the thieving boy and the confrontation with Jarrod. The boy was handled really poorly. Casey gives the kid awful advice and it really rubs me the wrong way that Casey would gaslight a kid into thinking "Power Rangers hate thieves". But when Casey shows compassion and forgiveness to Jarrod, trusting that he had the power to fight off Dai Shi - that was powerful.

He's trying to instill pretty basic morals to the kid dude. Power Rangers fight bad guys, and if you do bad things then they'll see you as a bad guy. It's basically the same as using Santa to keep a kid behaved

I’m starting to rewatch Power Rangers and ima say this, I skipped so man6 seasons and now I’m trying to force myself to watch( them. I don’t like MM but after trying to watch a ton of them. I decided to go back to my favorite season and try to get back into the flow THEN try and watch the rest of them. I will say I’m on,y going to watch Lost Galaxy forward though. I was gonna review them all but that put to much stress on me. I’m sorry I’m yapping but I’m gonna try and give the seasons another chance. Peace ya’ll

The red ranger has never been my favorite ranger of the teams. Nothing against them but I tend to like other members of the team more. Casey is the exception. Casey is my favorite character in Jungle Fury.

Casey is just so great a fantastic red ranger and character his impetiousness feels pretty natural along with needing to learn fast becaus keep in mind its only really been a week since he arrived in the academy before his fallout with jarred and daishi's awakening he started off as cub handing out towels but he showed standing up for others he has what it takes I find it pretty bizzare when he's labled off by certain fans as whinny when he's never coming off that. The episode one leader too many was a really great episode for him and RJ him being on the field really made him feel small and in Casey's words like he was a cub all over again for me his crowing his crowing episode was easily path of the righteous great vid I hope you cover Fran she's just so good an incredible supporting character i crush on her so hard lol.

I don't know that telling a kid "Either you're a good guy and bad guy," is a very good lesson. I'd argue it's actually a terrible lesson, especially because it was communicated by someone in a position of power.

I mean the lesson was don’t steal which, is a good lesson no matter the context Personally I don’t see an issue with it being that the kid did steal money from a restaurant and run lol that just my opinion

Now Casey deserved to have a battlizer during the fight with BadRat and Rammer but we never got it and instead had the spirit rangers.

Ya’ll im watching Jungle Fury Episode 6 right now and this has one of the biggest turn around for an episode ever. I was hating it and then as soon as the scene after they lose the fight they lose I’m loving the episode. That reconcile in the parking lot was perfect for this situation. I can’t say the episode is good because of that bad first half but it’s a ok episode now. Somehow they made me change my tune on Theo after I just didn’t like him this episode and now I like him again. I love this season.
