I love the subject of codependency. To be honest, for sometime I struggled with Codependency. To most adults it’s sort of subconsciously feeling the need to put the need of other ahead of your own. Almost like you have to sacrifice a lot in order to get something in return, which in most cases they end up taking advantage of you. It’s really a negative thing, but again to some people it comes as a trauma response. We need to learn that we are enough, self sufficient and we can meet our own needs. We have to make ourself happy FIRST. We don’t need approvals from anyone as long as we can approve ourselves . We have to unlearn a few traits that led to us being codependent. Correct Correct Correct! Though I think the moment you feel like you’re being taken advantage off, then something isn’t right, either you’re the only one pouring and the other party isn’t pouring into you, which can be very draining…

Great topic! 👏👏 I personally don't support dependency because of my happiness and peace 😂 If the person or people I'm depending on start misbehaving and treating me the way I don't want to be treated, I might not be able to react, correct them, or even ✂️ them off! At the end of the day, I end up accepting unhealthy habits that don't add to my growth. This is one common reason people suffer in toxic and abusive relationships/friendships. I sincerely pray for everyone in this situation and don't know how to go about it 🙏 🫶🏾

It’s always hard to cut people you love off for most people but it’s always important to know you’d rather distance yourself or keep facing the same situation, reason why as hard as it is it’s important to not really depend on another🫶🏾
