The Siltech brand, which is now 40 years old, is known the world over for creating some of the very best hi-fi cables using a proprietary silver-and-gold metallurgy for the conductors and the best-quality materials for the other parts. Every cable the company makes is meticulously crafted in The Netherlands by skilled technicians. The resulting cables are expensive, but the quality of the products gives them an almost Rolex-type appeal among the most discriminating hi-fi aficionados around the world. In this video, Siltech CEO Edwin Rynveld describes the company’s flagship line, called Royal Crown. The line began with the Triple Crown models, but has now expanded to include Single Crown and Double Crown cables of various types.

What this man is talking is pure nonsense, emi and rfi noises are not an issue on speaker cables since they carry relatively high voltages (compared to interconnect cables), to obtain 10w rms on 8 ohm speakers the signal output of the amplifier is 9 volt rms . External noises (emi and rfi) will be in the range of micro volts to millivolts max. (long cables can act as antennas) these are relatively very small and will have no impact on the sound and not be heard.any way since 2 leads of the speaker cables will have the same noise( if any) and the same phase the will cancel each other, beside the output impedance of the amplifier is very low and will drain this noise like it does when speaker coil generate signal in the opposite direction ( called damping factor). It is not like what happens in interconnect ( especially phono interconnect) were audio signals are much lower and noises can be a factor so we use shielded cables. You can make experiment yourself and use a phone charger as noise source and bring it close to the speakers cable, you will not hear anything no influence on sound whatsoever. Use good cables with low gauge (thik copper leads) but don't go insane with speaker cables, better invest money on other components of your audio system.

Better deal on alexpress for sure. They do have this triple crown, but it is like 5x more in price to the double crowns.

@Lukas I had Supra's before. Also a very good one. In my setup the sparkling part in the Art Speak made the difference. It's allways setup depending.

@Lukas for me the highs with the silver Art Speak are so sparkling it was an easy choice for me. Best value for money and handbuild. Silver has something magical.

@Lukas Just to let you know, any deletions are not US! We've noticed that RU-vid doesn't like hyperlinks.

Strange comparison. In the world of high horology, Rolex is not considered truly high class but overpriced mid-class. In other words, Siltech actually says that you pay a lot of money for mid-class quality. (By the way, I do use Siltech loudspeaker cable and XLR interconnects, and I am very happy with it).

@weetjeweetje4054 As a Siltech owner, which watch brand would you compared to then?

@@dougschneider8243 I think that depends on what is important for you. If I want a watch that tells me the time very accurately, I would go for a cheap quartz watch. So, if you consider Siltech superior with respect to sound quality and also have nice looks, a Swatch could be a reasonable comparison. However, if you consider Siltech superior with respect to build quality, utmost care for detail, design, but don't care that much for the sound quality, then the best comparison would be a watch from the holy trinity, i.e., Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin. These expensive to very expensive watches are inferior compared to a cheap quartz watch if it only comes to time keeping, but very superior when it comes to the art of high horology, i.e., craftmanship, beauty, refinement, mechanical ingenuity.
