The Rolling Lady (The Oldest View) 

I used to work in that mall in my hometown of Dallas, TX.....it always did have a creepy vibe.... especially at night.

Bout to start up a whole new lore. The Rollerverse.

I've had an irrational fear of these Indonesian puppet things, ever since I watched that one Little Einsteins episode when I was younger... Really fantastic work!

I love this type of horror. It’s both random, nostalgic and immersive. It feels like something I’ve had a nightmare about when I was child.

Interestingly enough in The Oldest View pt 3 when Wyatt is running through the dilapidated mall at the end the lights flash in the corner and reveal 4 other giants. One of them resembles a lady who looks a little similar to this statue except with long hair. I love the work on this. Reminds me of some of the actual art pieces and other sculptures in the art galleries within the Valley View mall before it was demolished.

human is a social being, so when a person is alone in an unfamiliar place, he's scared, instincts and primal fears speak in him. these games play on these fears.

this is KILLER work man. Really REALLY good work on the camera movement and environment. First time I think I've seen a found footage video that actually looks like video.

Awesome! That's a huge location and love the low ambient lighting, if you go into the glass material settings you can stop your lights being reflected as spheres like around @1:00 and just before that in the store window

I think this would be way more insane if, right as he reached the top of the stairs, he turns back and the statue has both its (previously static) arms outstretched and just barely within touching distance. Still though, that environmental render and creature is top notch!

This was really well made, the atmosphere was extremely realistic and so was the camera work! The only thing I'd say was lacking was the realism on behalf of the main character. It was weird how they didn't run away from this giant, creepy statue moving towards them. They just kinda walked calmly towards the escalator. I think any rational person would run as fast as possible! A *gasp* when it first moved, followed by shaky, terrified breathing when they're running away. Mix in some realism for the main character with the already perfect visuals and atmosphere and you've got something perfect!

I once had a dream as a kid where I was in a clothes shop similar to M&S (which my mom often went to) and it was full of hyper-realistic mannequins, as in instead of just generic ones in most shops, they were moulded to properly resemble humans with painted hairstyles, eyes and lips. Only way they didn’t look human was the pure white faces, glassy eyes and no nostrils. As I was walking through the shop, already feeling unsettled, one of the mannequin’s head started to unscrew itself from the body. It would rotate faster and faster until it flew off with great force. The others started doing this as well and I began running, trying to find a way to get out. I was woken up when one of the heads flew directly at my face. This video kinda reminded me of that dream.

WOW. this is super impressive i love the design of this giant, idk if you made it yourself or not but its rlly good. and the realism in this is so good it's honestly up to par with Kane Pixels and the original series. i hope more people see this

It's a pleasant surprise to find the Rolling Lady to be a gigantic rolling wayang golek character.

This Rolling Lady is actually modelled from Wayang Golek, traditional puppet show from Indonesia

yo, thats not lady, the doll is from my country and it's called "Wayang", and this one i think is "Wayang Golek" (doll shaped types of wayang), and as you can see, the hair has some particular shape to it, and that shape is from a Male Wayang, it's the Hair Bun of male wayang, and it's usually depicted as warrior or something, and you can see the bun is not very decorated, and quite simple, so it means it depicted a character of a person not from royalty, or of a men that choose to live a simple or humble life, it can hermit or just a warior.
