The gritty black-and-white film makes this illustrious song even more intriguing! Great!

Actually this was filmed on open reel video tape which at the time what was very primitive home video recorders. It’s amazing that this even exsists and when we found the master tape back around 2010 we were blown away.

They did not tour the U.S. in 1970. Winterland was June ‘72.

Mick Taylor added flavor to the music that the Stones were fortunate to experience for a few years. I was very lucky to have met him. A very easy going and conversational man.

This is great even if it’s an audience recording. It’s probably Mick Taylor’s debut on Jack Flash in the States. Awesome!

First saw the Stones on June 5, 1964 at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA. You could hear the first few chords of a song, and then the girls would scream so loud you couldn't hear the rest. I always thought Mick Taylor gave a harder edge to the Stones. Never understood why he left - could it be Keith couldn't handle the competition?

He felt he was dying from his heroin addiction, so wise choice.
