I was a kid in the 60s and these guys helped me grow up. Stones4Ever

I was at this show, or maybe one the day before or after. I was a college student in Kansas at the time and could only afford the cheapest tickets up on the top row in the SE corner of the old Soldier Field. They turned out to be the best seats in the house. It was a beautiful night and the sprawling, illuminated Chicago skyline created a breathtaking backdrop. It was as if the spirit of Chicago accepted the band.

Went to this show. I really wasn't a big Stones fan, and right before they went on, I had my first migraine, lucky me. That said, I left with a much larger appreciation for the band, Bitch became my favorite song. ✌️

Nothing compares to the Rolling Stones.

Keith Richards in 1997 was the coolest rock star on earth (not that he wasnt before!!) but this tour he just lit it up. And the band was just as tight as ever. As far as tours go this could be the best the ever sounded. Got to see them in Columbus and it was just incredible. Had 2 friends with me and they thought there was no way they could beat U2 that year. All it took was one song.....Hope we get to see the best in the business one more time!!!

Thanks for this, saw a couple of shows on this tour. Been going to Stones shows for over 20 years by now, but my soon to be wife had never seen them. The day I met her I was called in by her for an emergency dinner at Skywalker Ranch ( I was head chef at a catering co. she in charge of guests needs) when I got there she asked " what would you be doing tonight if you weren't here?" I told her I had stones tickets. She said " if I could see the stones I would be at the show." I asked have you ever seen the stones? She replied no, so I said to myself I have to take this woman to the stones. And the next time they toured I called up Mr. Ticket and burned a grand on tickets up front so she could get Micks perspiration on her. Took her to other tours after this great show, but this was the best. As I have just lost her to heart failure, Thank you for this memory.

As I see how hard the work to make a lot of people happy. The only band I've seen work so hard ❣

First night of the tour and Keith blows the first note!! Rough, rainy, chilly night. 9/25 was worlds better.

Thank you to the cool female usher that hooked me and my buddy up with amazing 50 yard seats just above the field for this concert! We had the furthest away shitiest seats originally. I slipped her a $20 and we had our own row! The cool thing is she didn’t even want the 20 bucks. Being 21, running around in our own row of about 12 seats was epic! Why the row had no one in it I’ll never know but she walked us all the way over there and said here you go. Cheers to you!

This Chicago show was the first show of their 97 tour. It was on a Tuesday. I was at their next show on Saturday September 27 in Columbus, OH. They played at OSU stadium (the Shoe) and rocked the house! They returned to Columbus in 2015 and played at the Shoe. I was at that show too.

Sounding really good here playing with some still youthful (relative to today) vim (look it up if you haven't heard the word). Even Darryl Jones is playing with uncharacteristic energy.

The Stones really do justice to Chuck Berry songs. Listen to Little Queenie (1:11:43).
