The Rolling Stones - Collection of Mick Taylor's Best Solos
Excepté pour Silver Train & Stop Breaking Down, j'ai utilisé l'accordage G open tunning.
Cette vidéo sert aussi d'outil pédagogique.

Keith Richards said in a '15 interview that he was curious to see if the Stones could become a three-guitar band and he loved playing Rambler ('12 & '13). I love Ronnie Wood. I wish he had sobered up 20 years before he did, but these solos are flawless. Videos like this amaze me. The dedication to execute these solos so sublimely is incredibly impressive AND they magnificently highlight the original artist's brilliance.

Jeremy, I am 65 and have been a Stones devotee for my entire life., and I appreciate all the different periods of this incredible band. That being said, to hear you play these Mick Taylor solos from the period of 1969 to 1974, I am truly blown away. You sound like Mick, and not just because you hit the right notes (which you do, absolutely spot on), but your approach is just like his : gentle, nimble, and so delicate. Mick Taylor had that special, unique touch that fit so perfectly in the songs he participated in. There is no guitarist like him. You really succeed in capturing this in your playing, the true essence of what Mick Taylor was back in those days. Congratulations, Jeremy, a truly remarkable video. You are really talented.

Thank you. I’ve always loved Mick Taylors guitar work with the Stones. As a young teen who was into Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, I was used to some incredible guitar solos. Up until Mick joined the Stones I always thought that they were lacking in that area. Then my eldest brother bought Sticky Fingers. I loved the bluesy laid back way Mick added a new dimension to the band and for the better of the band And, boy, did you nail those solos here.

I've circled back this video. It is excellent. Thanks again for sharing. Mick Taylor deserves his own place in the quirky ass R&R HOF and ranking as one of the top rock lead and blues guitarists of all time. I love the Stones and the Glimmer Twins, but know in my gut that MT got ripped by the Stones machine. Jagger and Richards should give MT 10+% royalties and or at least what other "official" band members got during his tenure. Really more bc MT was the most creative member behind Jagger and Richards. RIP Mr. Watts.

The Mick Taylor years are my favorite version of the band, by far. Taylor gave the band the guitar chops they had to have to be considered "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World." Before Taylor the Stones were one among several interesting British rock bands. And although the band did produce some noteworthy music after Taylor left, their days of rock greatness left with him. It's all been cashing in on the greatness they created from 69 to 74. I think Taylor pushed Keith to do the best work of his career. Richards and Taylor together were magnificent.

Brilliant! Mick Taylor was my guitar hero growing up, playing his Stones stuff. I thought I was alone as nobody seemed to be into Mick Taylor before the Internet and now on RU-vid I see this kind of stuff, makes me feel good and glad I stuck to my guns especially when there where so many cheesy guitarists not to par and where other guys hero’s I could not stand. John Mayall’s Blues Breakers pumped out some hot guitarists... Taylor joined him at age 17, the Stones at 20. In 5 years cut the best rock the Stones came out with that everyone looks to for the best in Stones tunes (Brian Jones era was remarkable too yet different).

If this only has 767 views to date it's no wonder the world is in such trouble. This is pure awesomeness distilled. Thanks for posting.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your attention to my video 🙏 I carefully review all my comments, as well as requests. I can't respond quickly to all of them because I want there to be a chronological logic in my videos. But if life allows me, I will manage to make a restitution of the complete discography. I'll see you every Sunday and Monday with a new video where I play period 73 🎉 As well as Wednesdays and Thursdays each week where I play the early years of the Rolling Stones 🌈🎸🎶☯️💫❤️🌞💪❤️‍🔥 Please Check my Channel for more Stones Covers 👅 Have a Beautiful day 🌞🍀 Jeremy 🫶
