One of them. They have a pretty staggering catalog. Having this fantastic cover be one of the "weakest" songs on the album imo really is a feather in its cap.

This song features Ry Cooder on slide guitar. The Rolling Stones was the first Rock Band I was introduced to as a kid by one of my brothers who was 12 years older than me. I'm 52 now. Makes him 64 now. My favorite Stones albums was this one and the ones that followed with Mick Taylor on lead guitar.

Najlepše u svemu je to što ovako divne melodije spajaju sve ljude sveta čitav jedan vek .... koliko je ova Džonsonova pesma gotovo stara ... ili mlada ... Uzvraćam srcem i lepotom ove predivne pesme... Meni jedna od najdražih Stones pesama, uopšte taj period od ‚‚Beggars banquet" do ‚‚Sticky fingers" :-) Niko ne ume tako lepo da rola kao Sounsi .... posebno ta postava sa Mick Taylorom :-) Heart to heart :-)

Great song! I've followed my girl to the train station and got arrested. I never even seen the train come into the station, but I saw all those police cars pull in and I thought that I'd be shot cause that's what cops do now! The red light was then dammed police cars....Rob

No. This is Ry Cooder on mandolin and Keith plays slide. Brian only played Autoharp on Silver and Conga drum on Midnight Rambler from Let It Bleed.

"Let it Bleed" was the Stones reply to the Beatles "Let it Be" because the band's were compared so often but obviously they had different attitudes now they got Macartney on their latest album but even John was tired of his inauthentic pop drivel when he left the group too.
