One of them. They have a pretty staggering catalog. Having this fantastic cover be one of the "weakest" songs on the album imo really is a feather in its cap.
This song describes what it feels like to be in love with someone that does not love you back, perfectly. One of the saddest songs I have ever had the pleasure to hear!🥲 Genius songwriting from Robert Johnson!!
@@heather12toesThey mastered it. Don't be a dickhead. You should be proud and honoured that the best blues-rock band ever decided to pay in this extraordinary way a tribute to the godfather of blues, with one of his most known songs.
I love this song 🎵 ❤️, the Stones took rock and roll to a whole other level 🎉🎉. Their style is unique and it don't sound like anyone else 🎉🎉. They are the best of the best 🎉🎉
This song features Ry Cooder on slide guitar. The Rolling Stones was the first Rock Band I was introduced to as a kid by one of my brothers who was 12 years older than me. I'm 52 now. Makes him 64 now. My favorite Stones albums was this one and the ones that followed with Mick Taylor on lead guitar.
The best band on this planet One of the best songs ever written Pure perfection I hope they come back to Europe soon I will be there for sure You must see them live if you can It will change your life
dear robert, I saw the stones eight times, in germany and the netherlands. what should I say: the sun, the moon and the rolling stones! with their music they express my 'lebensgefühl'.
(From the *Mick Taylor* period, I love) _Love in Vain_ - the live version. Most of my favorite stuff with *Mick Taylor* is probably onstage. *_Keith Richards, 2002_*
@@christy7698 unless u like that early r n r , rockabilly sound they had with Jonesy , before psychedelia hit round 67 for them . their first 3 or 4 lp s .? ? .
The lyric is so a deep crave of love feeling masterpiece that in it revokes the farewell depart scene .And there comes a flashy slow motion musical scene!!
This song signifies how the Mississippi Delta has infuenced an entire generation of people with its music from its juke joints. Humble beginnings are always the best. Those freed slaves used music to emancipate themselves from the evils of the American South.
Lyrics: Well I followed her to the station With a suitcase in my hand Yeah, I followed her to the station With a suitcase in my hand Whoa, It's hard to tell, It's hard to tell When all your love's in vain When the train come in the station I looked her in the eye Well the train come in the station And I looked her in the eye Whoa, I felt so sad so lonesome That I could not help but cry When the train left the station It had two lights on behind Yeah, when the train left the station It had two lights on behind Whoa, the blue light was my baby And the red light was my mind All my love was in vain All my love's in vain
believe Robert Johnson would have felt this was a faithful redoing of his song. Stones were disciples of the blues that came before them and set them on that long road.
More like two, shree suitcases these days, bitches just over-pack like no tomorrow- How long you gone for 3-4 days or three or four months?? Carry-on compartments run outs space!
Well I followed her to the station With a suitcase in my hand Yeah, I followed her to the station With a suitcase in my hand Whoa, it's hard to tell, it's hard to tell When all your love's in vain When the train come in the station I looked her in the eye Well the train come in the station And I looked her in the eye Whoa, I felt so sad so lonesome That I could not help but cry When the train left the station It had two lights on behind Yeah, when the train left the station It had two lights on behind Whoa, the blue light was my baby And the red light was my mind All my love was in vain All my love's in vain

Great song! I've followed my girl to the train station and got arrested. I never even seen the train come into the station, but I saw all those police cars pull in and I thought that I'd be shot cause that's what cops do now! The red light was then dammed police cars....Rob

My love for them wasn't a joke or in vain they were the ones that lied and cheated and played games. So GGGG I WONDER WHY I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM THE ALL SEEM TO. NOT SEE THE REAL ME ...
"Let it Bleed" was the Stones reply to the Beatles "Let it Be" because the band's were compared so often but obviously they had different attitudes now they got Macartney on their latest album but even John was tired of his inauthentic pop drivel when he left the group too.
