Quite remarkable they could pull some of the most memorable combinations of notes from essentially 2 electric guitars an electric bass and a striped down drum set. Amazing gift given 😢 in a dark dark time. They are giving their fans quite a jolt of love and sanity right now. ALSO AMAZING 😅.

I’ve always thought the guitar work on this track was genius...so clean, chimey, delicate...and intricate with the interplay between Ronnie and Keith…but still edgy Rock guitar. And then the counterpoint of Bill’s bass around it, under it, all through it. The Stones are the best. One of my favorite tracks of all time. And Mick - such urgency in the vocal. And, of course, Charlie...coolest Rock drummer ever.

I love how in these videos it would appear that the band only exists to let Mick have a good time. He's like a dog they are taking for a walk. Jagger is the only one that really seems invested at all, the drummer in particular always looks like he's a million miles away. Seriously, try watching one of these promo videos under that pretext - that Mick is forcing the others to play against their will for his own amusement. The thought is entertaining.
