Took my 3 daughters to the Stones this year in Pittsburgh. Keith did this song. The look on my 14 yr olds face when I told her when this song came out, I was as old as she is. The power and longevity of the greatest band ever
I know mate, I've found myself very happy and a touch emotional looking around at the younger generations attending and realising that we weren't bullshitting for the sake of it, they have attracted massive audiences globally since they actually made the whole thing of the touring model, always the pioneers and always will be the greatest
My daughter Alyssa passed away a couple 3 days ago and at the very beginning of this song when Keith takes a breath he says honey and that's what I called my daughter I never noticed it until now but what a great think for me to hear at this moment my name is Jack my daughter's name is Alyssa keep us in your prayers thank you
I'm a little sad that all the keef fans out there and no one else knows what it's like to loss a child and the support that it may bring it me. Sad Sad Sad
Keith is at least as good at singing as Mick if not better, there are not enough Keith tracks on a Stones album, "Bridges To Babylon" had three, that's better, "You Don't Have To Mean It", "Thief In The Night" (my favourite) and "How Can I Stop". On "Voodoo Lounge" "The Worst" was actually the best!
I was at this one at Twickenham in 2003. My dad took me along at 13 years old. Ive never looked back since and love the Stones to this day. This performance is one of the most vivid memories I have from the show. Keith holding his guitar by the neck and just putting it on in time to play that simple but stunning guitar solo.
A love song of sorts if I heard it right. And he plays it so perfectly. Most of his songs share that same common thread. What a master! Keith-never stop painting that canvas!
One of the best (and most underrated) Stones songs and Keith just hit it outta the park on this performance. Best vocals I'ever heard from Keith. I think KEITH was surprised! Better that the album cut with Mick doing wimpy background vocals . Of course several fuck ups by Charlie. but he's a jazz drummer you know.
