I saw them play this last night in East Rutherford NJ, almost 20 years later and this was the best concert I've ever been to, and they are all around 80 years old. What an amazing band!!!

Ya know sir, I couldn't disagree and couldn't agree with you any more. I too grew up rocking to the bad boys of rock n roll. I too have seen them live 5 times. And thats where I agree, few bands put on a show like the stones. But truth is, they're not exactly what I would interpret as being the most awesome talent. This rendition of this song is a perfect example. Kieth is missing notes like crazy! But who gives a fuck?!? After all HE'S KIETH MUTHAFUCKIN RICHARDS!

Great song. Music is personal, it's whatever raises the hairs on the back of your neck. There's so many amazing songs from great bands that don't make the radio, so only the biggest fans of that band know of them. Pearl jam "Tremor Christ". Blind melon "I wonder". Tom waits "Christmas card from a hooker in Minneapolis". Van Morrison "avalon of the heart", and "steal my heart away". If I could only have 1 song to take with me on a island I think it would be "into the mystic" by van the man Morrison. That's tough for me to say too, because I think every song pearl jam has written is great. I actually think Jane's addiction covers this song, and makes it their own, as well as the original, and I love the original.

I saw the Stones one hot summer night in Downsview Park, Ontario. The Pope had been on the site the year before and some thought the park was now holy ground and "they better not play that song!" Well, you know they were not going to back down from that. With the high pillars of flame and blazing red lighting illuminating the crowd of 500,000, it looked as if the whole park had descended into hell. What a night!! WoooHooo!

Wow...I'm 63 years old and grew up listening to this! I'm 3 years sober from a lifetime of drinking, and just TODAY actually heard the words for the first time... Pretty sad in some ways, but I feel it was meant for me to hear with the somewhat clear mind I have today! So ironic it came on the radio, just as I was leaving church! Love the Stones. Met Mick in 1970 in London, on his birthday, wayting with friends (we all on LSD) before his house at the river Thames. We were three, having come from Germany, 15 years old we were, hitch-hiking stray-cats, run-aways from our moms, to see Mick! Mick came with two white Bentleys, in one of them Lady D'Arbanville. Opened the bottle we had brought with us, good champaign, and drank with us. We were happy, as kids. That we were. You understand!? Yes, those were the days, my friend, I hope they'll never end! Mick is a gent, love and peace, England is great. WE LOVE YOU !!!
